I don't really see them as competing. Bitcoin is the biggest and is used to value all other coins. Eth has smart contracts and works well with the various tokens available. There is demand for both and so both will grow. Better idea to split your investment.

For me i will choose both of them for a long term investment if you hold this 2 guys it will bring you to the moon. They are same now going up, i know both them will made us success in future just trust them.

That is hard to tell. My strategy is hold both of them.
Right now, the market cap of ETH is about half of bitcoin's.
It is possible that they will switch places in 2018.
Both Ethereum and Bitcoin are good coins and I would like to choose both of them as my investment. These two can give me high profit. I'm hoping that this year 2018 would be their year. |

I think for now we can not predict exactly which coin will be successful in 2018 because there are no guidelines or rules that can be a fixed guideline in the value of the coin |

i think 2018 is still a year of btc at the first rank. a few years later, eth will be the next bitcoin, it will be at the first rank

For me eth is the best in 2018 because the price of eth is raise up in all exchange unlike bitcoin the value is going dump im not saying this i dint like btc btc is the good money i choice eth because the value is very haigh all users choice eth in 2018.

both btc and eth will grow in 2018, but none of them will grow too much, if we want to make more profits, new coins will be a better choice

btc and eth are my favorite coins, and the same kind of investment has good potential, both in the long run, and in the short run. and my judgment for the present ethereum is more potential, as eth prices still have a great chance of further rising.

Etherum in terms of % growth for sure. However I think NEO will see the greatest % growth and even pass ETH one day. The same as ETH but faster, No fees, you gain 5% on your money in the form of GAS per year, and your gas will also appreciate throughout the year. Working with the Chinese government. Both have 100 million coins, so it could pass ETH one day. |

i think 2018, btc is still number one in the coinmarket, but eth had a very trong growth, i believe it's ganna become number one in 2019 or 2020

I think ETH will be the king of 2018 because goverments all over the world are paying too much attetion on how to control Bitcoin but they forget that there is another coin that could be using as another "Bitcoin" is Etherum.
