Every topic in a forum, the rivalry of these two cryptos are always being mentioned, amd thats why i always answer and reply the same answer and same opinion that i have, for me the bitcoin is the most consistent cryptocurrency that ever existed and nothing will change to that, but if only bitcoin will be bankrupt, but it is very impossible because the owner of bitcoin is very smart and wise. And the altcoin ethereum is not like that but bery useful. So i always conclude in every year bitcoin is very useful and effective.

Maybe in 2019 Ethereum will become the leader. Now, I do not see any leadership of ETH. I guess some time should pass, and then, we will understand which of these cryptocurrencies will rule the market.

Both coins have potential to increase in value, but I would prefer Ethereum. Although it may remain in the BTC shadow this year, I am hodling to see ETH grow by the mid-2019 and reach its full value potential.

You cannot compared to two different coins. Each of that coins have their own abilities and capabilities. They will both rule the crypto in its own way. Both of this coins have a high potential of growth. We cannot determined if one time bitcoin or eth will boom at crypto world. They are both good crypto so I think both of this will possibly rule all coins.

Ethereum and all the 1st gen Dapps will be THE showcase for what blockchain is, can do and how it can change the world. Blockchain 3.0 projects might challenge this status eventually but not yet. The delays in projects like Augur, Golem and IPFS have shown that it´s quite complex to build a solid and secure Dapp. It´s safe to extrapolate that Blockchain 3.0 networks and their respective Dapps will face the same hurdles and not be ready to have a significant impact before 2019.

These coins also differs on characteristics and capabilities, so I think both of them will still grow in the future more than any other coins.

In my opinion, you better to consider both Bitcoin and Ethereum as both were alredy known  by many people and the demands by people is higher than other coins. We can buy both and hold it for a long period of time because as of right now they are stable and gradually increasing and with some dips. But in the long run they both still performing like last year 2017. So we better to buy now because the price is still low and hold until it rises again.

I am very confident about the development of Bitcoin which continues to show this increase is able to be the governing market this 2018. with this ability makes Bitcoin a winner at the end of 2018 is a high enough price and peaked.

Now it seems, that they behave approximaelly identically, and it is normal for two leading and most powerful coins.
But I still support ETH more.
