Yeah I get the same error.
Also there appear to be only win32 build, no win64 build included. Or am I missing something?

here is the solution >> http://zlib1dll.org/ copy zlib file to C:/Windows/System32 and SysWOW64 folders.

Seems to run for ~3-5 seconds and then exit out with a bunch of error messages. Will take a look at the code, but I'm no programmer.

Edit: seems that setting the sievesize a bit lower than the default 25million or so results in a happy, functioning miner. Gonna let this run for the next few hours and see what happens.

Edit 2: stopped working. I guess the sievesize just increased the amount of time it had before crapping out...
Tried with just the cpu mining bit, which seems to be functioning as intended. The GPU mining bit when it gets to testing the Fermat stuff, that seems to crash it. I imagine that somebody will have hacked away at the code and released a patch/diff by the end of the day. Tongue

Anyone can figure out what HPXX XPM client is most suitable for this one? I keep running it and goes crashing

In reaper.conf

where it has
device 0
device 1

do we need to add upto device 4 for a 5 card rig ??

Also do we just set the XPM client to Setgenerate = true and then point all of the miners to it ?

I am really get p..s off with these donation guys

Face it ... you were greedy and wanted to get in on the action early. There was no moral high ground for you by supporting the coin, but only the motive to make profit. Admit it! and then eff off. A donation was a donation, period. NO money back and no obligation by Mrit to return the "donation"

You people make me sick. Constant biggering and moaning about Mrit being a scam, etc.........

He did us a favour, not the other way round. He had no obligation to make the code public or distribute it. He just could have stayed quiet and mined solo, with nobody the wiser. The donation was the same as for all other contributors

Geese, some quietness would be highly appreciated.... ungratefull bastards!!!!!!

Awesome, Cracking, Brilllliiiiannnnt!

Really glad to see the miner is now released and out in the wild.

I wasn't a donator because I simply didnt have enough to be able to chance it (Not that i didnt have faith, I just didnt have enough btc lol)

So now I'm going to be the guy that goes....

Give us some info please :-)

If people manage to get it working correctly (Looked like there were a couple of teething problems but would appear solutions have been found which is great!)

if you could let  us know expected speeds and then some results from different people on different setups that would be awesome!

Cracking work mtrlt very well done for getting it out and silencing the doubters.

Oooh just thought of a couple extra questions lol, (1) Do you expected to be making revisions to the miner to optimize it even more? (2) is it still going to be 1 week before regular joes like me (I.E non donating scum :-) ) are able to get a copy?

(One final question,  Is there any chance of a birthday present of the miner! Its my 29th birthday on September 7th so it will only be 2 days earlier then other non donators :-D lol this is a joke btw ;-) {well it is my birthday, But im sure we'd suddenly have everyones birthday over the next couple of days if you said yes :-P } so Im happy to wait until the 9th {if that is the release date for us muggles})

Nice work buddy keep it up :-)

primecoin_address in primecoin.conf I need to enter myself, or reaper takes automatically from primecoin client?

Oh you guys..... I hate to say this... but I'm suspecting a scam.  The "source" is available elsewhere and is old code that has been available for at least a month. If anyone can contradict me, please do

You have to enter it yourself.

Read build.txt.

In reaper.conf

device 0

Also do we just set the XPM client to Setgenerate = true and then point all of the miners to it ?
Yes you can add devices up to 4 for a 5 card rig, or just delete all device lines and reaper will use all devices automatically.
Also I just realized I left a silly config option there. cpu_mining_threads controls how many threads are used for GPU mining.. sorry for that. If you have 4 GPUs, you should have 4 or 8 cpu_mining_threads.

Doesn't matter if the XPM client is setgenerate=true or false. It only affects the XPM client's internal CPU miner.
