Should we hold on to altcoins which we have invested and see the price dropping every moment or it will be better to sell them and buy it again when the value pumps ? I have already lost a good margin of profit with the ripple I don't want to make the same mistake with the Lumens which I Hold so should I hold on or sell out ?

This topic was created in January, and the OP might be happy if he sold his alts and bought later.  

That being said, nobody has a crystal ball. Selling something to buy later when it's cheaper is a strategy which fails very very frequently, specially in a growing market like crypto. I'm personally not a fan, I like hodling more. I prefer buying things with good prices and selling later when they reach my target price (even if it means waiting for years).

Sell or HOLD is always a difficult choice. But if my opinion, this time is not good to HODL. You should sell when you have a profit. We don't know what is the "lowest price" of Altcoin. BTC price changes very fast, unpredictable, so we easily lose money if we are not awake.
