Forger the word "Sell", especially if you believe in the project.
Every thing in cryptospace eventually raises in price, even some crappy projects, and if you are in a good one - feel safe, just learn  Hodling - this is by far the best strategy in cryptospace, slowly but steadily you will become wealthy and not rich Smiley

I think holding is the best option during correction time. Now market start to recover and the prices will be rising soon. I think holding a little long will be best.

Should we hold on to altcoins which we have invested and see the price dropping every moment or it will be better to sell them and buy it again when the value pumps ? I have already lost a good margin of profit with the ripple I don't want to make the same mistake with the Lumens which I Hold so should I hold on or sell out ?

This is quite a simple question to answer. I would most likely hold, in a sense that I believe that if I don't have any good reason to sell because I'd use the money then it is irrelevant. I would still look at the possibility that I could potentially earn more in the future than what I can earn now after selling my coins.

if the altcoin still has a bright future,
I guess do not sell cheap, and do not lose,
different if you buy a coin that has no future the only option is to sell it.

The market is so unpredictable that most newbies who try to turn a quick profit by judging the market end ip regretting it because it’s impossible to predict!  Just hodl.  Greener times are coming.

It all depends on your experience. If you know well the technical analysis and trading rules, you can buy in time and you will not lose a cent.

Definitely HODL. Practice shows that those who sell, then very much regret it. If you don't have time to sell at the beginning, then it's better to sit still. I woke up and I have a -30% of the portfolio, it was already late to do something. Already recovering slowly

I think we should have to hold because if we hold it then theres a big chance and a big possibility that when the upcoming days, weeks, month our altcoin, bitcoin that we hold will have a big price and that our chance to sell it.

Depending on the roadmap and update of the altcoin, it will rise again. Most altcoins have not even developed their project and are just manipulated by market influencers

Just look on the graph of the altcoin you are holding and see if there's break in the trendlines. If yes then sell your altcoin and buy at support line.
And if you are too late to sell because it already break the trendline then just determine the support line and if you are near the support then hold if not then sell and buy back at the near of the support.
It depends if you can make money with it and then decise if you sell or hold.

I think it's better to hold them even if you lost some profit because it has a big possibility that it's value will be more high and be on the top of altcoins. Just be patient and wait for that time.

On my opinion I think you should hold on it for a long investment. We cannot predict their strategy of the market when will the token pump higher and dip lower.Me and my husband are planning to just hold all we earn and wait for a succeding months for their results

If the price of the coins falls is not so much, then I will sell it, and then after that in the fall I will buy it at a slightly lower price. And if the price drops is big enough, then it is waiting for the price again to grow even for sale. I think altcoins in the spring will grow very well.

When you see the cryptos rates drop, the first thing you should calm down and investigate the market situation is to see why the downside and look for other investment instead of selling immediately because it will lose a lot. At times the rate of exchange must be calm and good control of emotions to avoid making the wrong decision.

Panic sells fix nothing. Decreasing of a coin's price doesn't give you loss. But if you don't be patient and sell your coins when the price is low, I am sure that you take the bad and chili taste of the loss.

Of course  hold. It makes no sense to sell when the price drop. Now is a good opportunity to buy a promising altcoin at a low price. And wait until the price will rise. Because it will grow up soon.

In my opinion, it Is better to hold because many people have earned much money because they hold it for a long period of time.
We all know there are so many dip along the way but that is normal in trading so don't be discourage about it.
When price goes down, take this as opportunity to buy additional investment and hold until you reached the desired income.
Bitcoin is too big to fail so we can never go wrong to invest our money there.
