I think holding is a really important strategy to get good profits from many coins, but sometimes it doesn't work. In my opinion, trying to understand a coin's characteristics is really important.

I would hodl if I was in a position like this because selling would mean to loose a lot of money right now. Also it's a good think to come with an extra investment into alt and why not , in good ICO's like PriorityEX.

I'd hold and if you actually believe in the projecting you are holding, then pick up some more at the discounted price of the dip. You'll lower your dollar cost average and make a nice return when it jumps back up.

Should we hold on to altcoins which we have invested and see the price dropping every moment or it will be better to sell them and buy it again when the value pumps ? I have already lost a good margin of profit with the ripple I don't want to make the same mistake with the Lumens which I Hold so should I hold on or sell out ?
As everyone writes in the thread. Should you prefer to stay in this phase? Have a little patience and it will be rewarded. The massacre of the last days seems to be over. The values of the altcoins rise again as it looks like. |

I believe that being bold can help better profits, there are possibilities to profit from this downfall, however if you feel good in comfort the best way is to hold. Both styles have gains and losses.

If you are a long term investor, you do not need to sell altcoins. If you have good experience then you can sell altcoins and buy them at a lower price.

You won't incur any loss until you sell your bag, if u sell your bag that means that you have realized the loss. Just be patient and hold onto your coins. In a week or so when the market is back up again you will regret that you sold your bag for so cheap so don't lose hope and keep on HODLING.

Just wait for a few day before you sell you alt. The best move right now is to monitor the price gap depreciation before you decide to sell your alt. If you see the value of your alt is continuously decreasing i think it's time to decide but think of it before you do sell and calculate first if your profit and investment not loss. If you think you continuously losing your profit and capital i think its time you to decide if have no chance to increase the value of your alt. But if you feel that have a chance to increase again the value of your alt, why you don't try to hold your alt to gain profit simultaneously.

It's depends to you if you want to hold coin or sell it in a right time. But I think the best from me is to hold for a long time until the price get increase to get grow your income. If we prefer to sell just wait for a right time and look for the price always to avoid risk.

I advise you holding is the best option once you invest. We cannot predict the rise or the fall of altcoin’s value because it’s still fluctuating. Maybe you can hold it for several months to see the latest trend of altcoin. And I think the bitcoin’s value will increase and so does the altcoin’s.

Never sell any coin if you are loosing a trade,hold when you are trapped it will make your money sleep but its effective than to lose a lot when panic selling.

I'm with the idea that if you hold long enough then you will come out on top. That doesn't mean that you hold for too long. You must not be greedy either. Coins like Bitcoin and Ethereum must be taken seriously, you hold until you make good size profit and then you cash out those profits, and leave your initial investment.
