Yes it is safer to invets in products which have a working prototype. There is no point of investing in projects which does not have a prototype.
However there are exceptions as well. For project which have very good team and excellent idea , I go ahead put my money. Its like seed funding more riskier. Since the risk is high the return is high as well. The key is to do your due diligence properly which include github if any.

If you have enough of experience and money to invest you can allow yourself to be risky. However, you still have to be careful, because scammers are everywhere

ICO becomes a tool to introduce products that the company launches so as a means of advertising then the ICO should be followed by many participants who support the project to succeed according to their target

I think answer of this question is very clear. Of course, ICO projects claiming to found banks are definitely ICOs that shouldn't be invested. Because of the nature of the blockchain is against the banks.

Yes , it's wisely to stay out from ICO's who don't have a working product or they don't even know how to build a working product. But if the project already has even an alpha product then the investment is worthing and project really has a chance for succed.

Yeah, because a team proved that they are able to make their idea come true

actually there are too many altcoins today that has no products but instead the coin network itself is their main feature like more scalable than Bitcoin, faster in transactions like top altcoins and so on...
we have already Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, ethereum, NEO, Ripple and other Top altcoins, why some companies and group of people are trying to promote their useless coins and just trying to divide the investment and caused good altcoins to struggle on their price value increase.
I only do invest on altcoins that has a good projects like Oyster Pearl PRL that is for online storage in the tangle.

The problem of many people that they had no experience investing, saw a magical tool for making money in the ICO. It's not that. Any analyst, it's a job.

These ICOs have meaningful products that ICOs work seriously, it is worth to invest. Never invest no product ICOs that most of them are coins dump, it will not survive for too long on the crypto market.

In fact even those ICO who supposedly have the product do not really have it...))) It's all social engineering and pumping out money from naive people.

Ico earn most of my money is investment, but then a lot of part of the loss of profits and investment through the ico ico markets must be bad, so I think as far as possible not to invest ico is better.

Sometimes it is possible to invest in ICO without the finished product, but only in the bull market and if there is a high hype.

Even the availability of the product does not indicate the success and honesty of the ICO. The product can be attractive in the eyes of the layman, but not in business

Such an imperceptible advertising of KickCity. Anyway I agree with main idea of topic.

However, it gonna be good if someone will do a list of SCAM ICOs on BTT. Or it already exists?

I was wondering, why a lot of projects don't have such an important thing for a successful ICO as a product.

When a company has a product it means they have it to develop. In such case, a company shows why they need ICO and how the company will be growing. What is more, there is more trust because a company has experience in a field they are working.

For example, KickCity company that exists two years. KickCity an event platform that generates revenue and has a Helsinki government grant. KickCity needs ICO to make business bigger and to become a decentralized platform where every user is rewarded for ticket promotion.

On the other hand, no product ICOs can prove their success just in theory. There is no proof base that product will be developed and will be working right.

In such unstable industry as ICO everything has to be under control. The product is one of the things that shows the campaign is not a scam. That is why I believe it is better to invest in ready-made products ICOs.
I do agree that products are essential for ICOs, less-scam wise and some sort. And in addition to your statement, ICOs are (in my opinion) totally dependent to the product they are endorsing (my choice of word might be wrong). Companies do get successful because of their products, and people who want to invest in company ICOs will surely invest to the best product that is developed.

As you said, with ready products and technology, only the lack of funds to expand production, this ICO is very rare to see.

Due to the fact that many ideas are really original and very promising around the ICO created hype. Therefore, many people are ready to invest in ICO because they are impressed with the idea and confident in the success of the project.

That advice is not good at all. There are many "just and idea" companies than do well. You just need to know that you have more risk when you invest without a product to show.
