Yes that is true and this is the good point when you are investing in ICO or being a bounty hunter. ICO with product are more trusted and possibly become a huge project if the product is good enough.

Iabsolutely agree with the thesis that it is better to invest in projects that have products at hand. However, during the time when many projects attract millions of dollars with just plans to create something and prices of their tokens go straight to the north just after ICOs, it is very easy to lose patience and attention, looking for a worthwhile project.

Yeah, better invest in icos that already have a working product or at least a decent demo of what they are gonna do. It's miles better than waiting for a long time until they release their alpha version and wait more until the commercial release. If there's demo then at least the team prepare a lot for the ico and serious about their project.

I was wondering, why a lot of projects don't have such an important thing for a successful ICO as a product.

When a company has a product it means they have it to develop. In such case, a company shows why they need ICO and how the company will be growing. What is more, there is more trust because a company has experience in a field they are working.

For example, KickCity company that exists two years. KickCity an event platform that generates revenue and has a Helsinki government grant. KickCity needs ICO to make business bigger and to become a decentralized platform where every user is rewarded for ticket promotion.

On the other hand, no product ICOs can prove their success just in theory. There is no proof base that product will be developed and will be working right.

In such unstable industry as ICO everything has to be under control. The product is one of the things that shows the campaign is not a scam. That is why I believe it is better to invest in ready-made products ICOs.
yes I agree with your opinion. should indeed be so if ICO does not have a clear product should not invest in it. better to invest in ICO products that have been so and clear, it will minimize the risk that will be accepted. and do not forget if you want to invest better to analyze the ICO first.

I think ICO is good investment platform but before you invest in ICO you should learn about the project and product details, many scam ICO's are online,if it is good ICO the team always updating the news and product about in social medias,Invest in ICO is very risky same wise very profitable also but selection is the main part, choose only best ICO.

No this is the wrong assumption of advising that not invest in ICO. But I think everybody should invest in ICO but think before which company they are going to invest. Always track the whitepaper of the company and read thoroughly about their project and analyse the SWOT analysis and calculated risk if the project is viable in long-term or not.

Agree with you. When I was looking for the ICO to invest, I saw lots of projects with the pompous claims how cool and useful they are, but without any product or MVP. Finally I chose Cryptics. This is the forecasting platform which does use 100% self-learning AI. Now they have already had a cool MVP, which has already used by lots of traders. They make daily, hourly and 4-hourly forecasts for the different crypto currencie, exchanges and for the market. In September they are going to introduce a trading bot on the platform and in the future there are will be available to tade, make investments and get profits on it on their platform.

When an ico have already a working product, the chances of being a scam ico is less compared to an ico launching that still has no working product. As you see, not all the ico that has no working product is a scam, most of it is a scam but not all. They have a sample of working product but especially when their working product is more on hardware, they needed the funds in the ico to get the working product operational. To make a good judgement in an ico to determine if its a scam or not, better make your own research and execute your prior judgement.

It's a right advice but there could be some exceptions. But I agree that we should try to avoid risk as much as possible. Also if an ICO already has huge user base with the product then it is even better.

Investing in no product ICOs is sentencing your money and the cryptos which you have invested into that project to a quick death. No product ICOs have nothing to offer and such there is no need and use for their coins in the real word which means that these coins have a limited amount of time to spend in the market before they die. It is way too risky to invest in such an ICO.

I do agree that as far as ICO's are concerned we need to make sure that the ICO has an actual product capable of being used or utilized by its customers or clients. Even beta prototypes as fas as I am concerned is a sign that things are going as planned and that the ICO is not a scam.

Naturally, it would be more at risk if the ICO does not yet have a product. And we won't know the roadmap, and the purpose of the concept of the ICO is not obvious. I chose the obvious purpose of ICO and the roadmap. And the team has had a great journey and often bring ICO can achieve success.

In general, if you want to invest in a product with the ICO, you have to have background knowledge about it, almost ICO is now a scam, you should be careful with what you invest

Its true because product is one of the most important things that could measure a good ICO. If they have product and the product is good and promising then the ICO likely gonna interest a lot of peoples to invest.

okay i agree that product is a factor and important. however as an investor if you want to make good profit as soon as possible there are more important things to check such as cap of the project, team and advisors.

This is a good analysis. Before the ICO created the prototype, the company launched and discovered the investment, which meant it was really effective and experienced, knew the weaknesses of the project and would overcome them. ICO without a product is like a scam and it will not gain people's trust.

we do have to consider a lot when wanting to invest in a product including an ico product. because now this investment is also very vulnerable. better we are equally patient to see the ico review is good or not

I agree.  Do not take risks and invest in a company without a product.  Now a lot of scam projects.

I have lost 5 ETH in this year's ICO project, which is a lot of money for me. I agree with you, rather than put money in an unknown project, instead of putting your investment on a mainstream coin that is likely to grow much less risky and hold on for a long time.

There are many product ICOs are exceptional because they have a potential team and support investors.but some ICOs no product succeed in their token sale.I don't think I have this courage.
