If I think under any Ico concept it is understood that something is not yet developed. Even if the company has a product they still need money to develop it or add new features. It's easy to lose sight and lose money, the project can look very good and successful, but when the project goes into the world it can easily burn and it will be very difficult to back up again.

The risk of investing in ICO is indeed great, but it cannot be said that all ICOs are scams. ICOs also have quality projects, but we need to pick them.

Yes , is good to invest in ICOs that has product rather than those that only come just to acquire funds and watch the market for pump and dump to get people in involve, some still have product but doesn't have that energy or moral to push it forward, so ico having product still depend on the team if they can really make it succeed .

There are some good ICOs & scam ICOs , i will rate 90 % scam ICOs : 10% authenticated ICOs , so better to invest in free coins with good developers .

I also think that supporting projects that have nothing wrong, there are a lot of good projects that already have a lot of good and already available software for testing. In it and need to invest. This is just my opinion.

Do you know that existing project did not have anything up till the end of the ICO? Yes, when you are making an investment into the project without any product behind - you make a super really investment. However, don’t forget that the best projects started the development after the process of crowdfunding

You are right and most ICO are made to raise money and fund building the project. The problem is that now most of the investors are concerned of the scam projects that steal the money and disappear. I guess that most of the investors want to see that the project is started already and is not fake.

I think investing in a company without a product is a risk.  But there are successful companies without a product. Most time I can as invest in projects that has an mvp.

As much as ICO with existing product and service are worthy of investment, project with solid idea and  capable developer should not be ignore either. Some of the most successful company are those company that has winning idea and better service. We should not be close minded when it comes to taking calculated risk that could lead to good profit. As long as it has strong team and good partnerships

I think that the main point is not product, main point is the idea itself. Maybe there might be non product ICO but the idea might work, so we should assess whether project has future.

I strongly agree, why would a white paper with idea worth millions?

Do your research first before investing, there are many scam projects out there, dont fall into the trap

Even those with product may fail also sometimes if the product are useless

Yes I agree.  Investing in a company without a product is sometimes worthwhile, especially if the company has a good idea.  But in most cases it's better not to take chances.

idea is not worth investing, the product with the built idea is the most important, idea itself will nothing to do to the success of the project because if there is no product, there is no security.

Sometimes ICO is carried out by companies that have already had a working product for a long time, they just decided to become a part of the crypto-currency world. Sometimes the new projects make the product first and only then spend the ICO.

Most of the projects have formerly can be named as whitewater ico that mean their idea is only on the paper with actually no code implemented, no MVP, no alpha, or beta software. They usually write a smart contract for ico and push it to GitHub

You can invest in a company without a product but also risk losing all the money much more.  So be careful.

I think to invest in a project without a product is only if the company had previously successful projects. Maybe they are raising money for development, because it is also good.

ICO without product is just an IDEA of how something could be helpul/useful/beautiful /whatever...We,being investors invest in a someones' dream ad expect that dreams come true. (Sometimes they are). Why people blame dreamers when the project didn't reach softcap? Everybody knew prior the investment that it was just an idea/dream? Of course I also sometimes really like projects with very good ideas (without product) but at the same time I realize that chances to loose investment are too high. And if I invest In such projects I'm ready to accept the bad result and the amount of investment would never be significant.

It's not a bit of ICO which led to disappointing, but it all can be minimized when we do the filters in the ICO which is good and profitable future. for it to be properly cautious in selecting the ICO. It's a shame if the ICO is passed because it is very profitable.
