When a company has a product it means they have it to develop. In such case, a company shows why they need ICO and how the company will be growing. What is more, there is more trust because a company has experience in a field they are working.

For example, KickCity company that exists two years. KickCity an event platform that generates revenue and has a Helsinki government grant. KickCity needs ICO to make business bigger and to become a decentralized platform where every user is rewarded for ticket promotion.

On the other hand, no product ICOs can prove their success just in theory. There is no proof base that product will be developed and will be working right.

In such unstable industry as ICO everything has to be under control. The product is one of the things that shows the campaign is not a scam. That is why I believe it is better to invest in ready-made products ICOs.

Yes you are right.  Today, a lot of ICO scams and investing in a company without a product is a huge risk.

You're right.  Now it is difficult to distinguish a good company from a bad one.  And now there are really a lot of scammers.

That is why people are always evaluating ICO investments as one of the most risky investments.
Not every ICO project has a product. They came up with ideas for the product and launched the ICO. And they need capital from investors to reach that product.
If you look for ICO with products, I think there are only 1-2 ICO in 1000 ICO

Yes i do agree completely with your view atleast in 2018 onwards people has to support the project atleast Physical existence company or one working product . Investing an ICO without a working product is like putting your money on something that uncertain.

Any investment is a risk, but the chance that you will lose money if you invest in a company without a product is much higher.

scam were serious threat for every ICO investors, i will agree with your opinion to invest in ico with existing product and developed by experienced team. but it cant be guarantee for ico with exiisting product will bring success in token sale, most of ico investors are tend to search a breakthrough project that will bring the new idea with blockchain technology. and has many advantages to other similar project.

Most people get scam because they are investing because of hype . There are many examples when projects without a product were given X10-50. Do you want to bypass such projects? I guess not. Everywhere you need a quality analysis.

I have never invested in Icos and I am not disappointed about it, I have invested in cryptocurrencies and this way is more preferable for me and for my money.

I am fully agree with statement. ICO without product is something we should avoid. It is hard time for ICO market and in order to compete, you have to launch MVP at least.
Stop investing in idea without MVP!

That is true, the risk is much lower, if there is a working product, or an MVP at least. there is a way less chance to be a scam ICO, as more effort has been made, to create something, before collecting the money. So I usualy choose ICO-s with a ready product too.

To me, it is risky either way (existing product or no product), and when I decide to invest in a project, even if I take the time to research, I am aware there is always the chance of losing. Of course it gives you more confidence if there is already an existing product or prototype. Unfortunately, with digital goods sometimes it can be hard to tell if they will be as efficient when they are officially launched (having a beta test is not the same as having millions of users accessing a platform), or they might be worried someone will try to copy the idea (not that we don't already see plenty of ICOs offering the same). Having a product also doesn't guarantee they won't scam you later on (it can just be a more elaborate scam).

I agree that product is a very important thing. So many projects promise a lot and have good whitepaper. But at the end many of them are just scam.
