Frist China want to ban all the foreign exchanges in their country.
https://www.ccn.com/china-looks-ban-centralized-cryptocurrency-trading-reports/

then France Creates Working Group for Cryptocurrency Regulation
https://cointelegraph.com/news/just-one-person-found-to-have-caused-bitcoins-jump-from-150-to-1000-in-2013

then German Central Bank Director: Crypto Regulations Must Be International
https://cointelegraph.com/news/german-central-bank-director-crypto-regulations-must-be-international

Also India already setup a board for crypto regulation.

What is happening all over the world?Something whats soul purpose is to be decentralized will eventually be centralized?

How much do you think a global regulation on crypto will affect the overall market in this year?

Its hard to take bitcoins down. Since every person is now connected with bitcoins. There's no power exist in this world which can shut it down. Do you know how bitcoin's price increase ?  When people using it by selling and buying its price increase which also increase its demand and decrease supply

I think that bitcoin will exist, since it was invested in a lot of people. This is the main coin with the largest capitalization and it will exist if it works with governments.

I dont think so, but governments regulation is a reality and all the cryptos are going to handle it, if they want survive on the market. In my opinion the utopic scenario of a total rise of crypto over fiat currency is irrealistic: if the phenomenon going to grown too much, the government has the power to do heavy resize and obstruction, as we seen in the past month.

Global regulation is one reason of bitcoin price falling, I think market manipulation is the main thing, many big investors are buy back when price is reached low level,I believe this is the best time to buy bitcoin may be in near future you will never seen the same price again, bitcoin has great future and same like crypto currency, so bitcoin never die, this market correction is temporary and will change soon

Most probably not the only thing that could happen if Bitcoin would be regulated is all income/transactions will be subjected to Tax that is mandated by every government around the world. All transactions that we are going to do with cryptocurrency are guarded by regulations the anonymity will be gone and I think that will be very risky and definitely the criminal rate will go even much higher.

I found a really good project to invest in - HelloGold foundation.  They are aiming to the creation of the full-fledged founding that will be able to provide grants for the upcoming startups in the sphere of further implementation of blockchain technology for financial operations. Moreover, they provide gold-backed tokens. Therefore, with the help of technology, the digitization of gold will enable everyone, everywhere to enjoy these same features that gold offers to the wealthy. With HGF’s gold-backed token everyone will only need the equivalent of a fraction of a dollar to save through gold (ERC20 tokens work to 18dp).

The control of bitcoin by various states can not hurt it, if such control isn't inordinate, that is, it won't be coordinated at its disallowance. Bitcoin regardless, at some point or another, ought to have experienced government control, in light of the fact that the state can not imagine that it doesn't see the strolling on its domain of a costly advanced money.

even with these kind of regulations, there will still be many users and supporters of crypto. The price may be going down now but bitcoin will still continue to grow

I do not think Bitcoin will die because of global regulations. What can make a dead bitcoin is because the high level of supply is inversely proportional to the low level of demand that makes the bitcoin price will drop, and over time will die.

I guess not much but it will affect mass adoption though because people from the countries with the crypto regulations may be frightened to invest into crypto in that government might just decide to close down crypto in their respective countries.

In my opinion, bitcoin will not die with global regulation, because bitcoin is highly developed and grows rapidly many people invest in it, perhaps with the regulation in every bitcoin state that will be increasingly in demand by everyone.

No, quite the opposite. Regulation will help Bitcoin on a long term basis.Which base on my analysis the government can benifit due to the taxes as many people has bitcoin that can buy what they want but still taxable as the intended tax on what we have. Well, its not literally from bitcoin tax which the bitcoin was converted to fiats to buy.

I strongly believe that bitcoin will not be dead even there will have a global regulations. Global regulations will come true if almost the country are crypto influence. It will not become true global regulations if there are three or four  countries alone who prohibited bitcoin.

I'm sure bitcoin can survive despite the tight global regulation, the world certainly needs solutions and changes and as long as many users feel the benefits of bitcoin then they will ignore the regulation.

You could expect it. No person will legalize the payment system without the possibility of affecting him. THIS IS ALMOST URGENT ...

Global Regulations will have a major say on the life of Bitcoin. It would only die when every country in the world bans Bitcoin or cryptocurrency. But i don't see that happening anytime soon. So, invest smartly and forget about these kind of things.

My opinion is: No, because global regulations can't change the opinion of the masses. I see that Bitcoin and cryptocurrency as a whole is growing with crazy speeds day by day and don't really see it dying because of some governments BS.

With the strong community support of bitcoin I don't think this will die due to global regulations. Although this will create some doubts but later on they will understand the propose of the regulations and then this will help attract more people to join and invest in bitcoin.
