It is obvious that governments will seek not to kill bitcoin, but to control it. After all, taxes on cryptocurrencies will give a lot of money for the government.

You are right and this will make the price of bitcoin go increase and also its transaction fees too, once this will be regulated we cannot tell if there will be more people that can afford to have it.

no it will not increase but rather it will become stable . transaction fees will also become stable and will still depend on the price of bitcoin .

there are now more people that can afford bitcoin becauase when bitcoin becomes regulated , it value will also become stable which means it cannot rise anymore to a higher level .

@bitcoin will not die if its regulated but rather it can became more indemand as it is now being suported by the governement,

Nope it will not die because these regulations are also means accepting bitcoin for the good of the people in that certain country. And this could also means that more people will going to know more about bitcoin and possibly join also in cryptocurrency. So for country that made some regulations on cryptocurrency then that is a good news.
Yes right it will not die rather it will strengthen the system. This is to know the users of bitcoin that their is rules and regulations about this cryptocurrency. Even their is global regulations bitcoin will not easily die rather it will have more users will joined.

How much do you think a global regulation on crypto will affect the overall market in this year?

Well, after half a year we can clearly see how regulation and manipulation has affected the market.
In fact there was more manipulation on the market, while regulations are still being processed.
A bit sad to see the whole market in such situation as now, but from the other side - great time to buy projects which came out with huge minus from ICO.
Still i think Bitcoin hasn't reach it's bottom and we will see even cheaper btc this year.

ICO are being regulated not banned , look in thai and elsewhere in the world , BTC is being strongly manipulated for sure bank like RBI made a move , not sure if they have bought but the big shot that know better have for sure out of india 1 day 2 billion moved coinmarketcap still says it's that story.

reality ? you fell to Scammers after being in an ICO , IPO
(more like any other stock and index in the world ICO or not got your portfolio down 25 % or 85 %)
Now  SEC is helping you getting back up your lost money maybe....

Setting a bitcoin by a different country can not harm it, if the rule is not excessive, that is, it will not be directed to its prohibition. Bitcoin in any case, sooner or later, should have been subjected to government regulations, because the state can not pretend that it does not see running in its territory from expensive digital currencies. No crypto will be dying but we only need to make peace with the authorities responsible for this rule because it's the only way to use cryptocurrency freely without having to disagree with the law and we've seen some exchanges, banks and card issuers all affected by this rule which also limits the adoption process.

Governments that foster free markets won’t over regulate crypto currencies. They’ll regulate enough to protect its citizens from fraud like scammy ICO’s. They might go as far as to trying to eliminate privacy coins for tax purposes and stifle money laundering. But beyond that, they’ll sit on the side lines and let the crypto market grow and evolve. As for bitcoin, it’s up to the market whether it lives or dies.

Bitcoin can not suffer because of the massive regulation of its states. He was created for existence in a society united in the state. In order for him to receive official status, he needs such legalization. Therefore, its implementation in the interests of bitcoin and other crypto-currencies. In determining the conditions for the passage of bitcoin, the confidentiality of its owner may suffer to some extent, but this is the necessary necessary measures.

even global regulation, I'm sure bitcoin can survive, and the world needs solutions and changes. As long as a lot of users feel the benefits of bitcoin, they ignore supervision.

Bitcoin will not die because I think the government will accept and globalization. Bitcoin can be accepted by many people and invested. Bitcoin does not have bad effect, but only people who use it for bad purposes.

There are no global rules applicable to bitcoin as well as any law that prohibits bitcoin transactions globally as well as in the world or any other international region so bitcoin can grow to reach the world level.

For me it seems that Bitcoin is already strong enough to stand those regulations and not fall because of them. Otherwise I think you all understand that bitcoin would be already destroyed.

Think on the bright side! More investors will put money into Bitcoin if it is regulated. In fact, now many are hesitate over whether or not to invest in cryptos for fear of its legitimacy. So when the questions and doubts are cleared they will likely to buy Bitcoin.

Very much in this doubt. Bitcoin is a decentralized currency. Hence the essence of this is the lack of the ability to regulate it. It would be rather ironic if the decentralized currency could be destroyed in this way. But my opinion is that bitcoin is a consequence of progress ... and progress is known to slow down, but it is impossible to stop it.
