I think this is not a good planning. you can buy bitcoin when you have free money. Its a huge gamble you know. you know that any time you lose your house.

Lolz what if this is not the bottom yet? we can only speculate market trend but we cannot accurately say it will happen no one knows. you will gamble your shelter because you saw BTC drop almost half of its All time high price you put your family at risk then. don't invest what you can't afford to loss you may sleep on street if that happen |

Who idiot would do that? And by the way, bitcoin has not yet reached its bottom peak I assure you. It can possibly go all the way down up to 1000 USD if the majority of the asians panic sell and do a mass withdrawal. |

I don't know if you're just posting this thread to entice some attention from people. But, to answer you in a serious note, I don't think that would be a good idea because your house is of a different league of asset compared to bitcoin. One's house is a necessity, and it is an essential for living, thus, if you would compromise that security, you have a big chance of living in the streets. But, if you really are serious with doing that, then at least get something to help you know which investments you should make that would put you in a position to gain back the house you sold. I would suggest Daneel (daneel.io). It is an app that gives you updated data regarding the market and how bitcoin and altcoins are faring in it. Also, it has analytical data and news that could update you with current market movements to also help you make good moves, after all, your house is on the line here. |

I really hope you are being ironic, because it's exactly this type of behavior that could end up making bitcoin a bubble. If people understand bitcoin and see it as an emerging technology, and a good investment, they should buy in to it, and then just hold. But as every investment, no matter how good it is, you can't really put more money than you can afford to lose. Buy selling houses and all their belongings to then buy bitcoin, it will be a huge risk. Since the markets can be easy manipulated, once the price starts dropping a bit, people will of course panic sell, because they can't afford to lose their money. This will create a crash, and people will lose money. If on the other hand people just make small investments, they will be patient and will not be driven into fud. Without fud or fomo there is no bubble to pop, and bitcoin will have a long life. |

Good speculation to determine fate. If bitcoin goes up you will get a nicer home, but if bitcoin keeps losing its value you will lose your home. |

o the bottom still there are about 10,000, so I would not hurry to sell the house. Bitcoin does not owe anything to anyone, so it can fall to zero. |

No. Just do not do it. This would be the worst idea you will have for your entire life, and the most dumbest decision you will have. You do not need even to sell your house for just a piece of bitcoin. If you do think that it will save then you are probably wrong. There are a lot of ways to do, just do not sell your house.
