DID EVERYONE SURVIVE THE GREAT CRYPTO DEPRESSION OF JAN 2018???

Bro, calm , this is something very normal. All old traders now are very happy because they waited for this to happen in order to buy more and more. Buy now thank me later.
Especially buy a good ICO like DIWtoken or trade.io, their price now is nothing, is going to x100 , is possible.

I can't personally consider it a great crypto depression as it is no way near in quality as of any financial depressions in the past. Its just a bump and cryptoworld is in business as usual. Surviving, yes of course! Only the death of crypto will dampen anyone's interest for those who has been hooked on it.

Last year was a funny year indeed and all these guys came out to play with funny theories. We saw so much booming coins, incredible growth of thousand s of positive percentage. And then when things dipped 60%, everyone talked about the crypto bloodbath. And this was the most overused phrase of 2017. Looks like this will again be the favorite phrase of this year. Great depression? Ask people what happened in 2014 when it took Bitcoin two years to get back at $1000. Short memories are the norm it seems among crypto people, huh.

Its actually a great sign really that all new investors consider 10-12k a depression state for btc

Psychologically this last huge wave came in to hold for big returns from their entry point. This is actually a good sign.

It wasn't that bad of "crash" really.  It basically erased one pump and a couple weeks of gains.  I held through out.  My blockfolio chart looks like this.

DID EVERYONE SURVIVE THE GREAT CRYPTO DEPRESSION OF JAN 2018???
yes I've survived the apocalypse Wink
I don`t think a 30% price fall should be called depression, this rather was market correction. Remember, the same thing happened in mid January last year and also in 2016 (even worse, about 40%). Also, Bitcoin felled once from $1200 to $200, that is depression! As always, some people panic sell and other filled their bags - if you buy just because of FOMO and then sell because of FUDD, you`re not made for this. Anything can happen, but if you ask me 2018 might be the best year for crypto.

Come on dude, if you call what happens in January 2018 "the big crypto-depression", then you do not know how many Bitcoin nightmares we have survived in recent years. The dump in January 2018 is pretty soft in my opinion because many crypto traders were waiting for this big dump to buy the dips.

DID EVERYONE SURVIVE THE GREAT CRYPTO DEPRESSION OF JAN 2018???
depression? I call it a second chance. I'm sure it's a black Friday for cryptocurrencies market scene before it starts to make another big movement. Over the past year cryptocurrencies are only in a consolidation period, and its break the consolidation period at the late of 2017 and started to make first big movements.

Ether, the second-largest cryptocurrency by market cap, has been around for two years, so it's a relatively known quantity. Most of the recent ICOs are based on the ERC-20 ethereum token, and the primary purchasing mechanism for new cryptocurrencies has been ether, the currency of the ethereum network.

Therefore, an investor often needs to buy ether in order to buy into any of the new ICOs.

But the crypto bubble of lesser-known currencies will pop at some point, leaving some people in a bad spot. Even so, the core technology behind it, blockchain, will provide value as a hidden infrastructure underlying future applications.

What caused the great crypto deoression of January 2018?
If you’re new to crypto, the last few days will have been unnerving to say the least.

And even if you’re not new they will still have been unnerving.

If you haven’t seen the news, crypto markets lost over $300bn between Monday and Wednesday.

What is being corrected, exactly? The price falling back to the $10K levels after reaching $20K in the middle of December was "the correction" (whatever that means); but right now the prices are dropping because every single coin is dropping at the same time. The price is not correcting itself, it is falling.

I was very surprised when the price of my portfolio fell 2 times. I will continue to hold it until I get a profit. I did not sell on top, and now I'm sorry. There was a chance to increase the number of coins by 2 times.

Do you know what a depression is? This is no depression not by a long shot. Also don't type in caps.

People act like the world is ending and this happens every single time. The funny thing is the ones who lose their heads on the most part don't even own that many btc to begin with, it's just that there so many of them and their minds are weak.

Yes this was very hard to see a great fall of crptocurrency in jan 2018. But this will not gonna break my trust on crypto. I had a full believe in it that in some time it will recover all the lose. Just waiting for the time.
