How big can the whole market grow?

It almost hit this amount in December, and was going to hit this amount in January before the crash. If the market does recover properly, it only needs to excel an additional 20% of its prior peak to reach 1 trill. Fingers crossed.

noone can say as all new and new cryptocoins come to world so if even Top coins will not rise so much market will rise anyway ,as i know some expersts think Market will be near 1 trlion this year.

I believe that we will get over 1 trilion this year. Much more money should be coming in when market stabilizes and fear disappears. Bear market might stay for some time though.

The market reached almost 800m then It fell down to 250m in almost 1 week, it means that is was overvalued some correction need to be done but it can grow big in time to reach 1trillion.

To be honest, at this exact moment i think it's too hard to predict...

I really believe that cryptos are the future and they will shake the economy over the world, but i don't know if this model of crypto will stand for too long or there will be a completly new generation of cryptos, or something liek that...

I really believe they will become the main monetary source of humanity, but when and how are still big question marks on my mind...

But if u wanna a guess, i believe that we'll see it becoming bigger then the gdp of some countries like Brazil for example...

Honestly i dont have enough information in crypto world right now but what i think about it is that a market can grow bigger if there were many good quality products that will boost the industry. Having them, many investor will be hook up to invest because of that. And thats how it will work it will make the market grow but we cannot say how big it will be it depends on how will it be supported by the people.

my prediction is to be 2 trillion dollars. it would go much higher but there are too many outside factors.(mostly bad influencers). it is a brand new technology that changes game right from the start. the biggest factor is integrating this to real life use. which makes it to grow slower.

2 trillion dollars is a possibility. There is no exaggeration in it. Once bitcoin will start increasing, most probably many altcoins will do the same like they usually do. But still this will be a very small one as compare to other markets.

This is the reason why investing in this market can make us millionaire within few years. It has a lot of room to grow. This present dump is making some people insecure but this is just a temporary time.

Crashes won treally affect market cap in future. 1 or 2 trillion dollar market cap will be reached in a year or 2 years. I am sure of it. Anyways I would love to see it happen slowly, we don't need quick upgrade anyways.

I would love for the market to reach that in a slow and controlled manner but that is not going to happen no market grows like that, most of the time bubbles are followed by crashes and at the end by even bigger bubbles, while the bubble that just burst was smaller in terms of percentage it was way bigger when measured in dollars and this pattern will keep happening, so get bitcoin and do it fast.

You can print 1 trillion coin, keep majority of coins to yourself, then sell only small amount for $1 each. That wouldn't make real 1 trillion $ market value but you see it as 1 trillion $ marketcap.

it can reach more than $30 trillion in a few years. There are good altcoins but there will be more soon. Last month many ICOs reached hard cap in just few minutes. Many talented people and big companies have joined blockchain and it will continue. Many big investors will invest in an altcoin in near future and of course after regulations many funds will invest in cryptocurrencies.
There are many Hedge funds or Retail funds and investors use this funds on goverment bonds or private bonds or buy stocks or just put money on bank . Why they dont invest in cryptocurrencies ? Cuz Volatile is big ( btc drop from 20k to 6k) and its not regulated market. When those are ended ICOs , exchanges and cryptos regulated than they will definitely invest in cryptocurrencies and than market can reach easily $30 trillion.

With all the good news regarding regulations , i think the market can grow pretty big.
But i still think it is to hard for ''regular'' people , it is so easy to get scammed .
And if you aren't on top of that or take the easy way out by putting it on an exchange there is a big chance you will lose your money.
So i am looking forward to solutions to that without compromising centralization .

Oh, this is good question. It is very difficult to anticipate including today’s crypto market situation and government attitude on crypto currency at all. It is promising market but it can be highly restricted

The whole market cap f crypto could reach $10 trillion before it goes down and reaching another true marketcap but i think we could get there not before 2021 or 2020 we can get that market cap after we see small movement or new strong support. And at that time bitcoin can probably worth $80k - $100k and ethereum $8000 - $10000

Marketcap means a lot in cryptocurrency just like stock market. If some cryptocurrency has 1 trillion coins, do you really think anyone would pay $1 for that coin. Noone will pay $1, but if the project is good, it could be valued at lets say 1 cent per coin.
My guess would be $2 trillion for cryptocurrency market in 2018.

I mean the total cap of all crypto. Of course no one can know for sure, but it would be interesting to hear any ideas. Btw the global stock market is worth about 80 trillion

I'd say $3-5 Trillion within the next 5 years. Easily!!
If you don't think so, that's fine, but the potential is huge, and therefore will be the growth and speculation.

Market today are in very volatile that's why it's market trend are really unpredictable. cryptocurrencies is the future of money and trading. it can grow much more than anyone of us can think of. Some countries might try to ban it but for sure they can never stop it from growing specially when new good ICO are being invested in.

we're still not at the worldwide adoption level. People now heard about bitcoin but they usually never used it. When we reach real adoption, the market can grow 1000 times from now, based on my humble opinion
