Hello,

I'm trying to mine on the community pool but I'm having problems to setup the worker's name, my command line is:

OS: SMOS
Miner: Claymore's CryptoNote AMD GPU Miner v11.3

Code:

-xpool stratum+tcp://communitypool.stellite.cash:6699 -xwal MY-WALLET -xpsw $rigName:MY@EMAIL.com -pow7 1

Btw, 799 H/s is ok for 580 4GB GPU?

Thanks in advance

Your command line seems to be ok, what happend on the pool or when mining ?
I have better result with Cast_xmr with drivers 18.3.4 compute mode and  --forcecompute in command line
800 H/s for a 580 4Gb is normal. Whats your overclock setting and strap ?

Have you guys changed to a new code? Why is this info impossible to find. Not mentioned in the ANN or the pool. Whats the deal? Shouldnt be hard to find this info. You are stopping people from mining the coin. I read the last 6 pages...Nothing...How can my clients care if you guys seemingly dont.

Can anyone give an explanation as to what, in the Community Pool section "Blocks Found" does "Effort" mean, is red good or bad or what ?
I've never really understood what "Effort", or whatever other pools call it, meant.
It does say that "Effort=Shares/Difficulty", but that doesn't help.
Should I pick a pool with lots of red Effort or lots of green Effort or does it matter at all ?

Hi,

Mining effort is just the number of submitted hashes divided by the actual difficulty. This calculation then provides how much "effort" the pool should provide to statistically find a block.

When a pool finds a block with a 500% effort, it means it took 5 times more hashes than it was "statistically" needed to find it. When a pool finds a block with a 50% effort, it means it took 2 times less hashes to find it.

As far as I know the only impact this information really has is for the PPLNS pools, this reward system is determined by proportion of your hashes in the PPLNS window of time before the moment block is found. Window of time equals to time required to reach usually 200% block effort.

Many thanks for the expanation, it helped me understand what "Effort" means a bit more clearly. If I had any sMerit points left I'd have given you a couple or so.

All i know its more than than both exchanges has on buy order .He could bring the market to 1 satoshi in a moment .

How can I import a paper wallet to the CLI wallet?

Hi,

You can import with your mnemonic phrase.
In Guy wallet go to settings > new wallet > restore wallet > type your 25 words here

for CLI Wallet :

You need to restore your wallet via the seed that was given when the wallet was created.
To do so, create a .bat file and place following commands in it:
for Linux: ./stellite-wallet-cli --restore-deterministic-wallet
for Windows: stellite-wallet-cli.exe --restore-deterministic-wallet
save and start the .bat file.

It will ask you to name your restored wallet, set a new password and type in the seed.
When launching simple wallet afterwards, it will receive blocks and your balance will be shown.

What is the port to solo mine this coin?

Hi,

Of what i know you can only mine with your cpu with the CLI wallet.
Lauch the daemon stellited.exe, let the wallet sync, let the window open
Launch the wallet stellite-wallet-cli.exe, let the wallet sync too
type "refresh" and after "start_mining"

With GPU you can if you found a pool accepting alone mining,

or using a proxy to send back to daemon RPC, or a miner compatible solo mining but not sure its work now with the new algo.

If anyone have more information... but i'm really sure its impossible now without a really high end hardware CPU or GPU

How do you OC AMD for this coin and for CryptoNight in general. I have 470 mining (giving 3.8 KH/s)  570 8gb (3 KH/s) and 580 8gb(3.4 KH/s). What do you suggest?. And one rig with Nvidea 2.3 KH/s Smiley))

For all AMD I OC Core MHz: 1200 and Memory MHz: 1900 but I think they can go better. Using Simplemining OS
