hedge funds? Which of these will be implemented through the STeX platform?
I saw somewhere that hedge funds could arrive in October. there's no official schedule on this yet as mentioned earlier in the thread. That's right. Was sort of aware of that come to think of it. but what is the situation then with alpha release? do we have information on what Stex Exchange is delivered with in alpha release?

What is 2018's roadmap of STeX?
March, 2018 STeX Exchange Alpha release is scheduled to March 27, 2018 14:00 GMT. Users can sing up and trade on the exchange. Mobile interface development in progress. Public API development in progress.April 5, 2018 A2A tokens ICO STeX A2A ICO is scheduled to April, 5 2018 05:00 GMT. Do not miss the opportunity to get A2A tokens with the maximum bonuses from the very beginning and wipe out huge part from your trading commissions! Unlock professional features on STeX holding A2A tokens. Get 50% discount on fees paid in A2A tokens. Enjoy tier structure discount system based on A2A accounting. Q2, 2018 Beta release A user-friendly web-based client with the highest level of security access control - taken from real world trading terminals - will provide instant access to the biggest choice of coins and tokens with worldwide best bid & ask. The key concept is this - you'll need just one account to get access to thousands of markets and trading pairs at the lowest rates. Behind the scenes is a fully automated system that takes care of all details. You can choose either segregated storage under your full control and protection or a common account - giving you maximum flexibility and leverage. do we have more details on the public API? what exactly will it support in the first release? What is meant by the API? API stands for Application Programming Interface. look at it as a waiter in a restaurant taking your orders and brings back your order. for example a service like Coincube will use an API to link their trading bot to your exchange account on for example Bittrex or Binance. the Coincube trading bot will use an API access code to your exchange account which has only trading rights and no withdrawal rights, so that the Coincube trading bot can, for example, make sure that your trading account always have 30% BTC, 30% ETH, 20% IOTA and 20% ADA, if that is what you want to always have. that way you don't have to do the trading yourself. you just transfer BTC to your exchange account and then the trading bot will equal that amount to make sure you always have a certain percentage of each of the coins. and so an API would be used in a situation like that. that's just one thing that an API would be used for. Coincube looks interesting. Thank you for the heads up. Good question, I will need to look into that further. Coincube looks like an excellent option for traders too lazy to purchase the crypto itself. Genius in fact. Is there something similar on SteX Exchange out-of-the-box or will STeX Exchange be supported on Coincube? I expect it is here api comes into play. API gives permission for eg coincube to do certain actions on the exchange account, but no permission to withdraw anything. genius! Then you only need to move over a bit of bitcoin for example to the exchange account, then the program attached to the API ensures that you always have an exact percentage of the crypto you want to hold.

That's the STeX technology paper. Can also be downloaded directly from their site here: https://stex.exchange/media/pdf/stex_technology.pdfIt's just a one page document. Well worth taking a look. It explains the Decentralization setup, Crypto-security, Speed and Horizontal scaling.

I discovered early (and invested in) STeX Exchange [STE] due to the features and their ability to scale, but the alpha release is not ready until Q1 2018. For those not up to speed on this exchange, here is a quick intro: The STeX EXCHANGE [STE] is bringing the full force/scope of traditional financial market instruments to crypto: Liquidity, Cross-rates, Futures, Leverage, Options, Investors and Managers, Out-of-the-box, all in one trading platform. Trade over 10,000 coin cross rates. 100% dividend distribution among STE token holders. With their 100% horizontal scaling system the STeX EXCHANGE can serve virtually ANY number of users. STeX Terminal and A2A Technology explanation video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3SUUCfXq-ewWhitepaper ➠ Team ➠ STE Token Price Calculator ➠ STE Evaluation Paper ➠ STeX Technology ➠ Telegram channelSTE = Security token, will receive dividends (Whitelist: http://stex.exchange/stewhitelist) A2A = Utility token (STeX A2A ICO scheduled to April, 5 2018 05:00 GMT) 🚀 STeX Exchange Alpha release scheduled to March 27, 2018 14:00 GMT Site: https://stex.exchangeFutures..........: Yes Margin Trading: YesDerivative......: YesHedge Funds...: YesTrading Pairs..: >10000Liquidity.........: Highest possibleCompare STeX Exchange with KYBER NETWORK, BINANCE, ETHERDELTA, BITSQUARE, QVOLTA, SPECTRE, EIDOO, BITTREX, BITFINEX, OKCOIN, BITSTAMP, COINBASE and KRAKEN in the Whitepaper - Page 15 > 5.2 Comparison with STeX. Pros: - Lowest possible bid/ask spreads in the industry - Bid/ask size automatic calculation - Stop/limit/conditional orders - Best prices available across other exchanges - 100% dividend distribution (paid in ETH) Cons: - Restricts US and Hong Kong citizens because of SEC and SFC regulation Are there any other exchanges already available - or upcoming - with features and dividend distribution on par with the STeX Exchange ? the background music of the stex exchange explanation video sort of reminds me of Deus Ex.

To be honest, I've never heard of such exchanges, only now, after your message, I'll probably go and study this project. Today, after all, there are not a few exchanges, although most of them are not decentralized, but still they fulfill their function, although very expensive commissions

I am also quite worried about how this project works. I'm also learning about it because it is shaping up a new direction in trading on the cryptocurrency market. I usually like new things so I will study more about this project.

Curious how will this project compete with Bitmex? Also wondering what their plans are for getting adaption and volume on their exchange. It's not like it just falls from the sky

STeX EXCHANGE is strong competition to every single crypto exchange out there. there are superstars on the team, their ability to scale so as to handle massive amounts of traffic is a strength worth taking note of, not to mention the features in general; Liquidity, Cross-rates, Futures, Leverage, Options, Investors and Managers.
Futures..........: Yes Margin Trading: Yes Derivative......: Yes Hedge Funds..: Yes Trading Pairs.. : >10000 Liquidity.........: Highest possible

Quick update: STE are valid with no changes. A2A is additional utility token and does not get dividends. STeX EXCHANGE will burn all unsold STE tokens above 30 million. STE holders will get 10% from A2A ICO distribution as an airdrop.
