ETH and NEO are both blockchain projects specifically designed to host smart contracts, ICOs, and DApps in a decentralized manner. Both the projects are open-source, Turing complete, and have ample community backing with great, responsive teams. These things almost same in the both. While, Some are the differences like,

• ETH is not backed by any nation, while NEO backed by the Chinese Gov.
• ETH uses a pow mechanism. While, NEO uses a delegated Byzantine Fault Tolerant consensus mechanism, which is an improved form of pos.
  
• The native crypto-fuel of ETH is divisible but not for NEO.
• ETH is going in the direction of becoming the world’s only supercomputer based on the blockchain by hosting numerous use cases of digital identity, computing, decentralized exchanges, remittances, and KYCs. While, NEO is focused on making a smart economy by digitizing traditional real world assets via digital identity, along with running smart contracts and DApps.
  
• ETH has already a big global community while for NEO not much like ETH.
• In matter of transaction speed ETH can handle 15 per second and NEO can handle around 10K per second.
• NEO is quantum computer-proof as pressbied in thier whitepaper but ETH is not quantum computer-proof.

Which do you think is better and why?

For me Ethereum is much more better than Neo because it was much more stable.  Ethereum also has full potential to dominate crypto world in the future . Also Ethereum has big supporter than Neo. Also according to some expert Ethereum has the biggest potential to rival Bitcoin than other altcoin. Ethereum has far much more develop than neo . Being the secong biggest crypto currency also a big achievement.

i dont know anything about neo but im picking ethreum over it because of all the coins out there only ethreum have the feature i like the most which is erc20 it can self sustain itself and soon ethereum gonna switch to pos so lower fees and faster confirmation times.

Both are excellent coins, but here the position of ethereum is better, where the position is ranked second, and many also make ethereum as a favorite coin.

I really might not have a choice between these two coins as they are all good and neo is certianly going to have a great year this year.

I prefer ETH but NEO is certainly going to be big this year

All this (exept GAS) is due to the fact that NEO is more centralized than ETH. So, i don't think NEO is more better. But it was made for Asia market, so, it will be popular

Nah. ETH is not outdated as you think . You must know that almost token depend on ETH blockchain and the number of new token depend on ETH blockchain is not stop increasing. NEO also a good coin but it's just new coin although China is supporting for NEO. Maybe It can be able to become the next ETH in the future but at that time ETH will still better than NEO cause it's the next Bitcoin.

At the moment I think Ethereum is the best coin. Because it is reliable than other altcoins. Although NEO is a good coin.

ETH and NEO are 2 very good coins and I will choose both, I am grateful to hold NEO and ETH since 15 months ago when the price is cheap (not more $ 10) and now we see the price of 2 coins is very expensive (ETH more than $ 900 and NEO more than $ 110).

I think both of them are really promising and good coins, and also, I think both of them can be really good long or short term investment choices.

My favourite altcoin is ethreum, because of its past successes and price, so, I would choose ethereum instead of NEO.

Both are very good investing options. I have invested more in Ethereum, but I am thinking to buy more NEO in the future.
At the moment Ethereum is better, but I am not sure about the future. NEO is very strong competition.
