As of now, I won't be able to tell what is better between these two because both of them have their own strength. I could go with NEO because this is much cheaper compared to using ETH and this is the main difference of the two.

NEO good coin but lost competitiveness with ETH indeed I think ETH is better because it has a modern system and rapid development, it shows the quality of Ethereum is better than NEO and the price of ETH is very low, so in the long run, the return on investment is higher, so I am more willing to invest in the ETH.

I always looked at ETH as more superior to NEO, as it is the originator of smart contracts. But now after the announcement of the "royalty" fee, I'm not so sure anymore. of course i choose Ethereum, why? because ethereum is the major of few altcoin with big and strong community, supporting by many corporation and used by many project, for prof you can see now many ico using ethereum blockchain for smart contract and many start up choose ethereum for combining with their platform

Both options are good. Ether is already developed and has reached many heights.

The Ethereum is better because it is more decentralized than NEO. And if NEO is actually decentralized, the big question is. Most of the nodes are from the developers, so they have tools for manipulation. Imho

My opinion NEO is better than ETH about technology because NEO released later ETH and it had many improvements in technology compared to ETH:
- Transaction: NEO can handle a whopping 10,000 transactions per second compared to Ethereum’s 15.
- NEO’s consensus mechanism uses Proof-of-Stake (PoS) as opposed to Ethereum’s more expensive and energy-heavy Proof-of-Work (PoW).
- NEO supports multiple programming languages, including C# and Java and, in future Python and Go, greatly lowering the barrier to entry for many programmers to get involved in blockchain technology. Ethereum has a specially dedicated programming language named Solidity that is neither well-known nor adequately mastered by many programmers.
- NEO’s NeoQS anti-quantum cryptography mechanism can withstand quantum computing hacks. Ethereum cannot, and is thus left vulnerable.

Most commonly used ETH when paying for anything so I only hope for it.Sure that NEO has prospects but ETH has already proved itself in the market
