I just created this thread to gather opinions ..
Ethereum is next to BTC?

Yes ethereum price is getyinf higher in the market and it is like a threat for bitcoins since bitcoins are falling today and ethereum are falling too but yheir price is not thay far. But i dont think that the ethereum will surpass bitcoins since the bitcoins are the pioneer in this business they will remain unbeaten. I know that the bitcoins will rise up back in the market bedore this year ends and they will become prime again.

    Yes i agree on that and i also believe that if ethereum will appear before bitcoin in crypto currency im sure his the king of crypto currency now. Because the blockchain and the security in ethereum are so awesome even a pro hacker hard to hack it... even now his the 2nd strongest currency

In my opinion yes if ETH will over shadow bitcoin from its record braking place, or if bitcoin value will fall over ETH then that would be the off chance that it might be the next to bitcoin. But aside from this event and at this moment, that would still by far from expectations if ETH want to compete with bitcoin. But that still depend on the community if many of individuals would love to use ETH over bitcoin and if they found it more convenient, then that would be the time ETH will be the next BTC.

Yes no altcoin has so much potential to come near to bitcoin because bitcoin is the king of crypto and people trust on bitcoin blindly and they all want to earn money faster and ethereum will never ever give them so much high profit and not ether any of altcoin can never take over bitcoin because bitcoin is name of trust its place is in people hearts and they will never ever let bitcoin side because bitcoin volatility will keep on attracting investor toward itself whereas alts will keep on bleeding bitcoin will rule over throne.

Yes, i think, ethereum is next to bitcoin, but ethereum will not surpass bitcoin easily, there is no altcoins that can surpass bitcoin. Ethereum has a lot of potential, but ethereum will not beat bitcoin.

The fact is that bitcoin as easily took off, and it will easily fall, and the efirium is much more stable, and than any other coins, and today it shows very good growth rates.

Ethereum will make its own name, ethereum has its own qualities that will make an edge to bitcoin. But of course, ETH will always be the top 2 crypto. No one can beat bitcoin.

ETH is one of the biggest altcoin ever and out of its smart contract there were too many investors who are believing that ETH is going to be the next big thing. And I have no doubts with it but to say that ETH next to bitcoin, what does it mean? ETH will be the next bitcoin or its literally that ETH is next to bitcoin? If its literally saying that ETH is next to bitcoin there's no doubt about it as that's the reality.

I think, bitcoin's price has increased at that rate, ETH can not cross this price.Bitcoin prices have increased very fast, which is not possible for the ETH. But now the price of ETH will increase compared to bitcoin.

For plenty of reasons, ETH price will never surpass Bitcoin's one. But ETH as the advantage of being quoted in BTC. Every time Bitcoins rises, Ethereum do it too.

In terms of the ranking of the cryptocurrencies in the coinmarketcap the ethereum is the next to bitcoin so it could really be the next to bitcoin if bitcoin will disappear because it is the top and it will take the throne and place of bitcoin. Ethereum have a good blockchain and design of its system so i think it will be great replacement for bitcoin.

Alot of alt coins are now being offered in this cyrpto community and one of it is the etherium. Aside from Bitcoin, it is one of the most talked about crypto currency maybe because it offers almost the same things which Bitcoin offers. I think i. the future yes it has the potential to be the next in crypto currencies but not that soon for I think Bitcoin will still be dominant for a long period of time.

Yes that’s true, Ethereum is the most popular cryptocurrency, apart from Bitcoin and has the second largest marketcap in crypto world, followed by Ripple (which is another most discussed cryptocurrency). Ethereum is pretty good and apart from Bitcoin, I don’t see any other Cryptocurrency that can compete with it. The price for ETH has been going up recently, and we never can tell what it may be in the next few years. I would ETH to anyone who’s searching for a different option apart from Bitcoin.

I would agree to this but yeah, just next to Bitcoin. ETH is still young but it has great potential to be just like Bitcoin (in terms of value and growth) or even surpass it... but  in time.

I think Ethereum has much greater potential than Bitcoin in terms of sheer utility and market capitalization. With this disproportionate reward comes extraordinary risk.
