I once invested in some ico, not entirely successful. And I suffered a loss when I invested in the once famous ico and end up a scam. Namely DAO. Maybe here many know it.
It frustrates me so much, I lose my money and make me give up and will not invest again on an ico.

Investing in ico is gambling, depending on our luck.

It would really be just like gambling because we wont even know if it would able to succeed for longer runs or not. Some may be listed on exchange but would dump hard until they do die. Some maybe listed and succeed which will potentially give you some decent profits on what you have invested.Experiencing scam is somehow inevitable into this investment firm its really just like a gambling but you would definitely lessen the risk if you do know how to research things up.

It depends on the coin you are supporting but not to rhe point of gambling because gambling needs lots of money without putting hardships unlike in ICO,it needs to be scam free,coin must be active and needs to be checked in whitepaper if it's still operating in ICO . Yes,I'm raising money in ICO and I have to wait for that because I see it as a banking system. So I feel like saving fiat in a normal and adapted by many people.

it depends on the project that you want to invest on it, some projects have a good profit, for example, i bought some GNT and take a profit about 2x or zil it's profit was 10x and some other have low profit maybe damage.

so far, I have not raised my money on the ico because I think it is better to use my money to another purpose and besides that, I really afraid to get scam or seeing the price is not increase higher after the ico is finished. it needs a time for me to see this project is really good enough so I can add more money to the projects because after I read the details of the projects, usually, I decide to spend some amount to buy their tokens. but I also check their projects and what progress that they make so far so I can decide more.

I invested in Credits but it was a little investment because than i was just studying the Cryptocurrency market so i started with little money but am not regretting on that investment i have raise little money out of the investment.

I never do investment in the ICO. But, I participate in ICO by joining their bounty program. The result is very satisfying. I have the amount of raised token prices from the ICO after holding for some moment. Exactly, the patience and strategy are the keys. Now, I use the token from the ICO for trading and hope to gain more profits with all risks to be accepted.

I invested in the number of ICOs and I have a positive experience with most of the ICO just 1-2 bad ICO I participated.

I have buy in more coins and I think the prices of most cons will go up again in the near future for us to make enough money. The price is suitable for us to buy in more.

I have experienced putting investment on failed ICO, still holding some of them until now and are waiting for the project to succeed. But, it does not discourage me to invest on good ICO when I see one.  Thankfully,  the gain I got from ICO investing covers for the loss I previously had.

Of course, I participated in many ISO, and about half gave a good profit. The most successful projects, in which I participated, are Decent and Ziliqa.

Four months ago I invested in the Credits project and it was a really interesting experience. At first I was puzzled because I had invested 2k $ in that project. That was a huge amount of money to me and in the development time, many people spread the news of the fraudulent project. I was very nervous and could not sleep. But now the price of CS is on the right track as I had anticipated.

Some of them are successful and some are good but non-profit. Bancor is the most strong non-profit ICO. And Enigma with his pump in Dec '17 is one of best. But I'd like to buy interested tokens after ICO dumping

Yes! Only doing bounty and trading after exchange listing, while everyone is selling, you can ride on it, thats about s#it coins, I see only trading here as for me, I will never buy on pre sales or token sales

Bounty gave me a lot of profits. Although I am not participating now in many of these projects, I know that many of them are very profitable. Additionally, I have been holding tokens and hope, they will grow.

I did a couple of ICOs last year and I must say that  I made quite a good amount of money from investing in these ICOs and I have raised money from investing in it. This is why I always tell people that there is a lot of money to be made from investing in ICOs and you can never go wrong with it as long as you invest in one with a good project and not a useless coin.

I invested in just one so far, but I got around 3 or 4 times of my investment, so it was definitely worth it. Still, not every ICO will bring you a multiply of your investment, especially not in short term. Do your research and don‘t be afraid of holding a projects token longer then just some weeks.

But regarding to the question,i have been once a investors of ico,i use to make money with it wayback,but now as more project are scammers,im not interested in joining even one

Great, on my own opinion to invest is so risk but somehow if you are lucky enough from the kind of ICO Project you choose , you definitely have a great amount after the ICO will be success. Also, base on my own experience I just join bounty programs here in the forum and after that when I have a reward, I plan to invest it to other project which I think that could be successful in the future.
