Personally I haven't tried investing in any ico yet. All I did was participate in bounty campaigns and that's the way I have made money. Although I am considering on trying to invest on ico and test my luck there. The only thing that has been keeping me from doing it is those news of many scam icos. I am scared of taking the risk.
Yes, I'm a novice too. I'm working hard to get an income through signature activities, and I'm also getting a deeper understanding of the ICO project and looking for projects with great potential.

I started investing in ICO in 2017 and it brought me a good profit (x5) in tokens, which I still do not sell, and I hope I keep them for good reason.

I think that ICOs might have been a good investment in 2016 and 2017, but now the market is so saturated that there just isnt much demand to push the price of ICO tokens up after their release onto exchanges.

this year does not seem to have any positive development not like the previous year Sad, even when joining ICO in fact the value of its capital decreases even though the token value rises all because in effect the current market down but if you are just starting there is a chance when bitcoin in particular increases again  Cheesy.

For the time being, I have been learning as a newcomer. I don't think I know enough about this market. So I dare not feel free to start. I feel that ico is also promising. I heard there are many scams, so I still need to be cautious.

Do you an experience of investing in ICO? Was it a good experience? Have you raised anything?

What is more, you can get tokens for testing a project's beta. For example, KickCity. You can get reward for testing this platform https://kickcity.io/event/5a9d11030cf2cac8e081f3e8

Since I joined the cryptocurrency world (a bit under a year ago) I have invested in a few ICOs and so far I have been lucky as most of them are still higher than the price I paid during ICO (even with this bearish market). I still have no intention of trading / selling as I had the plan to HODL, but I still check the market regularly to ensure I won't be selling at a loss.
Just make sure to do your research before investing.

It's simple. Concentrate on offline investments. Delete your Blockfolio and stop logging into Binance and Bittrex. By so doing you will not die of heart attack

Delete brockfolio? lol. You dont want to do that. Sometimes just not looking at it is already good enough. You want Blockfolio to send you notifications when your coins go under your Stop Loss if you have one.
You never know. Always handle the risks well

I have some portfolio of the tokens in ICO. Most of them were obtained from the bounty programs. So far, I can gain more earnings from the sale of my rewards. But of course, it is not as simple as you think. I need to hold the tokens after about more than 6 months to reach the higher price. After in the higher price, I sold them and I got my very legit investment based on bounty. I think if we know how exactly to decide the decision, we will know what to do now or next.

well, Yes, I believe that almost everyone can raise money for ICO - there are not so few ways and opportunities to do it, the main thing is just to want and spend a little time

Investing in ICO could be a very profitable investment decision. But in a few occasion you may find the value of your tokens go down immediately after the ICO. But in many other cases you can make extra money from your ICO investment.

I think that now it is very difficult to earn from ICO projects. A lot of projects after entering the exchange are cheaper than they were. It is very important to choose carefully before investing

Before you make a deposit, we suggest you do a very good job of researching the project. I lost as much as I won. I do not invest in projects with too many hype.

So I took part in new projects as a bounty hunter and as an investor, and in both cases I had a small salary, but still earned my first money on a crypto!

I have invested in some so far and earned good money and lost some money on some ICOs. Remember that you need to keep an eye on a project before investing your money, many ICOs were accused to be a scam project here. But as I see there are still so many good ICOs that brings you some money out there

of course because I have a mature plan to follow ico. and I often benefit from the ico I invest. but there are also ico that failed and the price was very down. the principal of investing in ico is you should know about ico how in the future will be.

If you are willing to take risks and make some decent profits, then I would suggest you to invest on crypto currencies and ICO. Though be very careful with investing on ICO.

i do gain some by joining ico and i do lose too. I dont think ico that let you gain free coin easier would be good for investment, investing in ico is dangerous and its no one guarantee you will gain profit and if you lose no one to blame. But sometimes there is good ico that are good and its very rare now.

No, i have not raised anything. I just participating some ICOs to invest my funds on them.
But the most important thing before you invest is always do yourself a research about the ICO you want to invest.
Never investing because the project endorsed by celeb, or offering a massive ROI, that sounds a fishy project.
