That is not taught in any educational institution, it was learn in case to case basis by our daily activities and experience. People must learn how to save and invest in proper place for their future and for the growth of the economy.

Lack of financial education can cause many problems specially in handling money. Most or some of us don't know how to properly spend their money, we spend our money on what we want not on what we need even tho we dont have even earnings to spend.  So we should have some knowledge in how are we going to spend by distributing it properly.

Actually there are lot of ways to motivate our younger generation in terms of financial aspects. One way is through education. Let us educate them the importance on financial status on how to regulate spending un needed things. We have to teach them how to save and imstruct them the advantage of saving by tellong them stories that could relate on how to save money. Another way is to get use of any cheap alternative means of things that you wanted like for example you want to somewhere the bicycle could be an alternative way to get the location. Without spending fare or gasoline for the car then that is already a big savings on their part. There are also life hacks that are found on youtube. You can watch their some life hacks that could simplify life.and make it comfortable.

There's still a lot of things that school doesn't teach, how difficult it is in the real world after they graduate and so many others school teach us a lot of formulas and etc. but they forget to teach us how to do our jobs in the coming future but of course it is in the person too if they really wanna know they'll search for it and they'll learn for themselves.

The lack of financial education in general is a worrying problem. We teach students about literature, maths, science, ... and we tell them that those are the things they need to know in life. Yet usually, the largest single expense they will have on their lives is a house, and that normally comes with a mortgage. Yet, only a few schools will tell them what should they be expecting, the risks and the consequences of such a contract.

Bitcoin and alts is another case in which people are carefully kept in ignorance by the governments and lobbies.

What can we do to make more people interested in economy and finance and to better educate the youth so that they don´t get ripped-off?
Sometimes it we have lack of financial education we can not manage our money properly we can not go things in a good plan of investment
Majority of the world have this tendency to raise their financial position as they have some enough money with them. But the problem comes when they are totally ignorant of the fact that how to use my money efficiently that can help me to raise the living standards of myself and my family. This only comes with money management and learning to know the paths of how to do this.
Financial literacy is crucial to help consumers save enough to provide adequate life, while avoiding high levels of debt that might result in bankruptcy, defaults and foreclosures.

Those with low financial literacy have less wealth and end up paying unnecessary fees for financial products. In other words, those with lower financial literacy tend to buy on credit, and are unable to pay their full balance each month and end up spending more in interest.

The significant effect of education is to build strong wall against all odds of life and live a better life of comforts when both ends meet. But apparently Financial education is lacking in so many school's curriculum activities. Yet, there's never any successful man on earth which aside from education will be short fall of financial education, probably and or mostly learnt through experience from different business involvement. Since most of our Governments are still presently turning their back against Bitcoin, I feel from my own intuition, our charity of teaching our matured children the importance of Financial Education and with much regards to CRYPTOS, essentially Bitcoin should emanate from home for now.

Well, the best thing today is the internet. Don’t expect the solution to come from the Government, as those subjects are not on the agenda.

I think the best if you have kids is to motivate their curiosity and critical thinking.

Yes internet is so good, and maybe it can be the way to educate the youth, and teach them how to earn money on their self. Yes government cannot provide everything so we need to do something for ourself because we cannot only rely on the government. Lets educate ourself and dont think that financial is a hindrance to be educated.

You have the point but we can't erase the basic. Also people do have different views in life. Though it is true that government are lacking in terms of educational layout which help those who are still ignorant in bitcoin market. However people do have dreams, different wants, different culture and different life style. In reality we do have different perception how to earn for leaving. Variations and difference are the key word that we can't force all people to study ECON.

Well my take on this is these lessons about financial literacy, being smart and strategic in handling money are not and will never be part of school curriculum because these life lessons should be learned through experience, some advise and guidance of parents but not the school and the government.

Generally speaking, the lack of education in any field is a big problem, and in a lot of cases, to have a good academic background doesn't assure you have a good education, expecially about the most important topics: love, family, health, children and - of course - money.
So, as it clear that government has no interest to provide a good education in these field to the citizen, the only way is to educate ourselves.
This can be do with relative ease if we study, read, listen to older and experienced people;of course we need also to take some risks, but if we act wisely the result is always positive, even if we fail, because we earned experience.

It is true that students can not study finance in school. I think the internet is the best thing to attract young people to the economic pinansial, maybe it should be tried to apply because the government did not give it for certain reasons.
In this present era, financial education carries a very significant importance and that the one who are having some good knowledge regarding this are actually going to have a better living as they exactly know what to do with that money which they have earned or will earn in the future.

This should be like a proper subject and need to be taught in schools as well so that people can understand the things in better way.

Cryptocurrency is the big answer for all our financial problems and including for financial education.I hope time comes that the student wanted to have an interest for cryptocurrency so that they can finish their study. We cant get directed an income for this kind of activities but if we are serious and make it for possible happen we can achieve what we want .

Actually people do pay attention to the financial or economy because people basically dreaming to become a rich person, no matter what job they have, it will always be measured by how much they earn annually, so eventhough in educational system is providing financial major and such but it will not cover for everybody because not everyone would love to take for example B school (business), so i think the main element that should taking part in fact nancial education is family, people should teach their children the meaning of responsability through thier "job" and the meaning of compensation after they fulfill their "job", so they will learn to appreciate the concept of hard work and also the important of using wisely their earning because it was the result of their sweat and blood, so they could be a wise consumerism.

It seems that - even in case of people with an academic background - the lack of education in the key sectors of life is a global problem.
Nobody teach us how to make and manage money, but also nobody teach us hot to make a healthy family, hot to educate children, how to be persuasive, how to have good relations, and so on.
So, this can be view as a global failure of the school system. Or may be the real problem is that you can find teachers for these topics...

Its still depends on a person's perspective in life. People learn from.their experiece. Maybe financial education is also important because we are using all financial aspect in our life but as people also have their talent in doing financial analytics through their wit. They are smart enough on how they will use their money because afterall they have to do it in the right way all else they will left nothing. Its people decision whether they will want to be gain more knowledge through study or through the usual way.

You cannot depend on life teaching everything to people, that is the concept of education, to be able to learn from others mistakes instead of just making your own always.

Without financial education, there's no progress and no development!

There's lack of financial education because everyone is thinking/planning how to be rich without effort and thinking it is easy without educating financial, which is the most important thing to win.

I think it is the other way around, since they have no education they don´t think and plan and have mystic believes about the nature of money and what it means to be wealthy.

It is true, something as simple as not giving people a basic understanding of money is shameful for any society. It should be seriously addressed by any government that has any idea to improve.

Well, I think what we can just do is of course to spread out the information needed for every people to know because that was the key for the knowledge to be effectively obtained by many people. This can only be done effectively if thet will just open up their mind into opinions that can lead into a knowledge especially talking about economics. Better thing to do is to have the concern of letting people know what they must know in any way that was possible. There are really lots of ways on how we can do it we just need to do implementation of those ideas.

I think that developed countries should have a separate way of educating themselves financially and in business. If there is a country that puts financial education into practice, many nations will learn to do so. Training in the country.
