I will proportion out some colors for you unless you want same color?

I would rather the colors be luck of the draw and have the seals on the white cardboard boxes intact.

Please make sure you have your wires correct or you will kill the hub.

 use a volt meter!

 I should photo this  and post. my setup.

+1

 If you send me a pm I can email a lot of photos.  Something is wrong with my  imageshack account.

 I found a quality psu on sale at this site.

http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=320-315   = psu
http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=390-500   = meter

labor day sale

ldfive          = 5 off 50
ldten           = 10 off 100
ldtwentyfive = 25 off 250

 if you buy 2 psu's and the meter with the coupon it is 113 - 10 = 103

 those psu's will run  6x  10 port hubs     they would run 3x blades   no issues.

 they are meanwell psu's same as these but usa company.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/MW-12V-28-95A-AC-DC-PSU-Switching-Power-Supply-Mean-Well-NES-350-12-350W-/350835949683?pt=US_Home_Audio_Amplifiers_Preamps&hash=item51af73c073

If you buy them  make sure you

A)  have a meter B) use 12 volt hubs

 this is the best price on cables with dc plugs

I myself have a 5v 40A PSU running 30 USB miners on some cheap 10 port hubs and am adding more hubs when my next 13 come next week. once I max out this 40A PSU I do have another 20A unit ready to go. just was wondering how others are handling large amounts of USB miners.
How do you setup a PSU to power a hub instead of the AC adapter?

Here is the 40A 5V PSU I am running http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EDJW76Y/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Then I am running cheap 10 port hubs (about $8.50 each on Ebay) http://www.ebay.com/itm/360671869028?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

Then ordered Barrel plugs to power the hubs from the PSU http://www.mcmelectronics.com/product/27-5990&green=2080D86A-1E61-5ADA-0A80-D4A5A758D0D2which I cut down to about 2ft in length.

 So far I have 4 hubs running and will start to fill them up and add another hub when my new miners come next week. Will see how it all works out when I start to max things out. But with the cost of the PSU at about $35+hubs at $8.50eax4=$34+ the barrel plugs at @$5 each x4= $20 I have $85 in running my 30 USB miners right now and should be able to run another 45 more only by adding a few more Hubs and barrel plugs.

Update: I forgot that I do have a couple of these fans running to keep the miners cool:  http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003XN24GY/ref=oh_details_o08_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

 may be workable at 6 sticks a fan   with 10 hubs you would be okay with 60 sticks.  long term 24/7 365.

  if you get that psu to run  75 sticks and a few fans longtime I would be impressed with the quality of it.   60 sticks = 150 watts 4 fans = 10 watts that is 160 watts out of a 200 watt psu.  that is about the limit for long term use.

 still 20 hubs = 170
http://www.ebay.com/itm/360671869028?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

2 psu's = 70
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EDJW76Y/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

20 wires = 20
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000S7AQF4/ref=oh_details_o03_s00_i01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

you would be at 250 usd  for 120 sticks and 0 overload issues.

  I forgot the fans  so 300 usd for 120 sticks and no overloading.  possible that you could do 7 sticks and a fan which would be 140 sticks and no overloading.

  let us know how it holds up with more sticks per hub and per psu.
Thanks philipma1957 for your input. Others have been maxing out these hubs with out a problem and a person can just solder the power wires direct to the hubs to help lower the cost instead of buying the barrel plugs. The PSU can be had cheaper but I bought this one due to the internal fan that it came with. I have 13 more USB miners coming next week and will see what happens. I may very well stop at 60 on this PSU as you suggested.

Glad to see the BE's are said to be drawing less than 500ma each.  Many cheap USB 2.0 hubs were driving the ports directly from the USB 2.0 chips like the FET15.  I believe the USB 2.0 spec is 480ma max.  Supplies burning up are one thing but the USB chips going bad are another.  Some better hubs use the USB 2.0 controller chips to drive other chips that buffer the ports.

Thank you.  Has that always been the case?  If so it kind of blows holes in the excuse that the seals were broken to check the color as explained by a reseller who claimed all seals were broken for that reason.

Yep! Been buying them since Early June,  They have always had the colored sticker on them. I had a problem with a Direct reseller that the seals were cracked.. I stopped buying from them unless he has them in stock to ship now and canary is OOS. I would rather pay a dollar or 2 extra for integrety.

What do you recommend printing for the return or "ship from" address when generating a shipping label?

 I put my address to and from.

 I use the canary's zip 60181 (double check that) as a different ship from zip there is a spot where it asks is the ship from different then return address.

I would date it for tues and make sure to print/save it to pdf before tues.

At least pay the extra 2.40 for a signature.  priority has 50 bucks free insurance.

 So if you order 4 sticks or less you pay 5.xx plus 2.xx = 7.xx  to the post office.
 After 4 sticks use your judgement as to more insurance. But the signature is your only good proof you got it.  When I order 20 sticks or more I add 200-300 insurance.  I don't ever add more then that.  I have had 70 sticks with 300 insurance and a signature.  I have had 3 blades with 200 insurance and a signature.

I put my own name up top, then CanaryInTheMine on the company line along with Canary's PO Box number and zip.  If attempted to return the item to the return address when the original zip code on the postal stamp isn't that, like putting your own in return and to, then the post office would be cheating itself from all the kids that figure out to mail for free is to put the destination as the return then not put a stamp.

That box is too small. You would néed a medium at least.
I usually ship them Fedex.  3 fit in large express box.
