It will be a tough decision for the Medical Industry in different countries in the world, but for me, it is possible. Many hospitals or anything in lined with medical industry will surely have benefits too when bitcoin will be used to pay such bills and transactions. Also, it is more convenient for people to pay bills using bitcoin, but the effect of this is that medical industry will have a great adjustment just to cope with the bitcoin system, all in all, for me it is a great idea.

It is possible, every institution can accept payments in any cryptocurrency but there should be a good reason behind this decision right? in practice, I don't think bitcoin is good candidate for that.

BTC can be implemented in medical industry once lightening network for scalability and Rootstock for smart cantracts functionality within the blockchain and then any industry can commence their operations with Bitcoin Blockchain.

Accepting Bitcoin as payment have no limits, it can be any business or services as long as they are willing to accept it. The problem is why most companies don't want to adopt it, is because of its price being unstable and the amount of transaction fee can be extremely expensive and confirmation time will also affected if the network gets clogged by unconfirmed transactions. But we can't say that Bitcoin having this problems will make those business avoid adopting Bitcoin, I believe that if lightning network gets implemented, it can fix this and if one big player enters, others will surely follow and will start to accept Bitcoin as payment.

I think it’s a good thinking for bitcoin...it may be possible along with the future and technology in the future . people take easily payment..  but I am a bit wondering what would happen if payments use bitcoin in an emergency... ..

if bitcoin has accepted by most country in the world, you can pay the medical fee in the hospital,
using bitcoin and other crypto.

it might be, and if anything it would be a new way of paying the hospital
but certainly only for, hospitals in countries that receive bitcoin only
because as we know, many countries do not accept the presence of bitcoin because it is considered a scam or a threat

Yes why not because bitcoin serves as mode of payment in business industry so there's a big possibilities to be used in medical industry too and also in other business fields. But the thing here is maybe it will happen if bitcoin will be going to be so famous and it is being utilized all over the world but it should be on the choices of money and bitcoin for the reason that maybe there's still other people who will not going to use it.

There are no real reasons which separate the use of Bitcoin in the medical industry, compared to other industries. Hospitals would invariably use a payment processor to convert bitcoins to fiat, because most of their expenses will be in fiat. The only reason I can think of is for medical tourism, where foreigners do not have to pay a forex surcharge apart from bank fees, to pay their bills. In the case of Bitcoin, it is just the payment processor fees.

Hospital bills these days are huge in my country. They can of course take payment in btc. It will be actually good as taking out so much cash from bank and then carrying it to the hospital is not safe.

There may come a time when that can happen but i don't think its anytime soon. Cryptocurrencies has the potential to be used in pretty much every transaction including medical transactions. There may even be coins dedicated for it in the future. But with btc heavily volatile, i think our generation won't be the one to see this happen yet

This is very likely to happen, and this is what all bitcoin users expect, including me. Because everyone will experience sick and want the ease of payment in the hospital.

i think it will take so long time until it can be happen to pay hospital bills. It's a government sphere almost. but now we see that some stores try to include such type of payment. maybe someday private paid clinics will be able to make this type of payment

already some schools are using BTC payment system, lawyers are accepting Bitcoin allover USA and Bitcoin Prepared Cards are also available - hospitals would start accepting Bitcoins, too, may be soon.

Why not? Bitcoin is currency for the people. In fact, i've seen some ICOs around that focuses on the medical industry which i think a very good idea of bringing this field into the blockchain. Briefly speaking, medical industries goe blockchain is not new already.

Why not? I mean it's great if we can pay our fees using Bitcoin since in the Medical Industry the price is high but I think that this will take some time because as of now many Countries, Industries don't want Bitcoin as a term of payment because the price is volatile and it's not constant but who we are to judge Bitcoin, Bitcoin already perform many wonderful and amazing things and rise through adversities.

it is very possible, if a country has legalized bitcoin and recommends to transact using bitcoin. when the state has received bitcoin it will be many companies who prefer bitcoin as payment and salary for employees

Maybe its possible but if ever happen private hospitals will be the first accepting bitcoin as payments than public hospitals. But its not prepared to the poor people/patient to pay bitcoin as payments for their hospitalization specially to the people living in some provinces where the people cannot access in crypto industry because of insufficient knowledge about the new technology around online industry.
