There may come a time when that can happen but i don't think its anytime soon. Cryptocurrencies has the potential to be used in pretty much every transaction including medical transactions. There may even be coins dedicated for it in the future. But with btc heavily volatile, i think our generation won't be the one to see this happen yet

Even if the prices are volatile, this can still be used. Medical costs are very high and thus volatility of 5-10% will not make a lot of difference. For instance, suppose  a bank creates a wallet for this and tells patients to pay bills above $500 or above in that wallet. At the end of the day bank can withdraw all the accumulated money in bank. On some days there will be decrease in price but for majority of time there will be increase. Thus the banks will get benefited by this system only. They can always go back to cash payment system if there is any problem.

Utilising bitcoin in medical industry will bring convenience on both parties, patient to medical institution or medical firm, vice versa. If some online store made it to accept bitcoin as payment, similar to fastfood chain such as KFC in Canada, it is not impossible that a hospital or clinic can do it as well.

Someday when bitcoin's fee cheaper and faster, right now it's kind of impossible for the bitcoin to be accepted in Hospital due to the higher fee and long confirmation. However they may use another coin to address this problem there are so many altcoins out there which faster and cheaper and it's really good for transacting. on the other hand there are some project in medical fields that people working on.

It is definitely possible that not only the medical industry but also the other industries will adopt crypto. However, instead of going with Bitcoin I think these industries will come up with its own coin, for example, if we are dealing with the bills of the medical industry then we might have something called medicoin to pay the bills across the globe. I am expecting such industry wise coins in the coming years.

It is possible or not depends totally on whether the government policies and laws accept it as a payment or not. But if it really is one day, we may get our salary, savings, school fees,... in the form of btc  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

I dont think that. Accepting btc as payment is too complicated for organizations that dont work for economic purposes. Because it will take their time to research the market, worrying if tomorrow their hospital will be closed when btc's gone,... It's not a good thing not only for them, but for the people use the service as well. If it happened, btc could make people dead literally  Undecided Undecided Undecided

btc is always redeemable for cash, so even a service or person doesn't accept btc you can always exchange quickly for cash with a lot of different solutions likewise credit card (xapo, adv cash, etc)... local btc... exchange directly to your credit card with other service, loading your bank account with kraken, and a lot of other solutions!

I think in the future Medical Industry will tap Cryptocurrency Market. But for now? It's so difficult to accept this kind of payment to hospitals, because of the price volatility and more governments aren't legalizing bitcoin as a mode of payment.

Medical sector is going soon to aproach new businesss models and of course its own blockchain's products as currencies, databases stored on blockchain, using the technology for daily uses.
There are jet tokens with this caracteristic as medicalchain for example...

This would an exiting development. Blockchain is already being considered in the medical industry and addition of Bitcoin will only make thing easier in terms of bill payments. Especially considering that blockchain may by then be already in use in the industry, making transactions cheaper, faster and simpler.

You raised a good point!! for those who says this will be a good thing, I just want to say we are all people expecting a bright future of btc, but it doesnt mean that everything on earth should get involved in this. It is too complex to use so often, daily

That is very feasible and possible because i have already see ICO in the medical industry. It is a very good sign that bitcoin and the rest of the cryptos are utilized already in different areas of specialization. With that, it may set an example for others to follow too.

The possibility that bitcoin can be use as a means of payments for medical is something that we are going to grasp in the future. Our life on the medical center would be uncomplicated if this will be accepted by the government institution.

Currently it is pretty difficult, there are still a lot of people who don't know what cryptocurrencies are that well. Bitcoin's popularity is constantly increasing and every day a lot more poeple are getting to knoe about it. When more numberof people start using bitcoins, it might become a regularly used payment method which hospitals, restaurants, hotels, etc. would start accepting.

I feel it is more of an issue of liquidating the bitcoins. Any business is able to receive bitcoins as a form of payment, medical industry included.
But as more people adopt usage of bitcoin and start to pay using bitcoin, if the liquidation process is troublesome or time consuming then it would not be feasible to adopt for now. Cash flow is always one of the most important factor for a business to consider.

Imagine if you want to just buying a 5$ medicine but you have to pay the transaction fees >10$
