what about coinlenders balance then?
can we give you a bitcoin address and you send us our coins?

You lost your money, what don't you understand?

Possibly. Also possible that some coinlender assets were in a separate wallet or that there are loans due to cover some of the coinlender deposits.
Yep, but CL used Inputs as it's wallet. CL still has some assets and people did not lose all of their money. Send an address to support@inputs.io

you have an email from mar****udi@email.it, please confirm

The hack was not an inside job. I find people who accuse that insulting.

I understand that's not proof. There's little that I can do to prove that I'm not the hacker, through.

So you knew about the hack thirteen days ago and did nothing further to protect 4,100 BTC? I for one am convinced Cheesy

Great idea, but what do you mean about insured deposits? I want to deposit some, and earn interest, but do I need 1btc to do that? Or can I deposit a little and get a little interest?

Insured as in I guarantee the deposits personally. Similar to Namworld's BTCBOND. Obviously not FDIC bank insurance, so don't treat this as your cold storage wallets (although you could use it as a 2fa required wallet)

Interest is only paid on accounts with at least 1 BTC.

So, will you personally guarantee to pay back the funds with your own coins? That is what you promissed!

Ips are from Australia where you are located... TOTALLY NOT AN INSIDE JOB.
That's expected, and the attacker rented an Australian server to proxy as close to my geographical location so it won't raise alarms with email recoveries. Wouldn't you think if it was an inside job, I'd use another IP?

In hindsight it was a completely idiotic idea Sad

Perhaps you should look at the outgoing transactions. Please understand that there is a huge backlog for Inputs.

TF- Don't bother answering the trolls. They are not your investors. It is obvious to those of us who invested with you that you were hacked and are the biggest victim here. Just keep us posted on the remaining assets and options. Have you alerted cybercrime authorities? Were you able to trace anything using the blockchain?

Someone at MtGox just sold $1 million worth of BTC at 266.90. Probably a coincidence but that's one place to inquire.

If I just "hacked" a million worth coins I wouldn't be selling them on gox of all places ;p

Don't think anyone as smart as the hacker would use MtGox.

The assumption that being able to hack into even well secured systems makes someone intelligent enough to not make a very daft mistake like selling it all on GOX is a poor assumption.  It's worth looking into.

I sent an email to Mark Karpeles at Mt Gox:

The online wallet service Inputs.io was hacked recently for 4100btc.
There was a recent sale of $1million btc for 266.90 each at your exchange. Probably a coincidence but please take note of the identity of the seller in case you are contacted by investigators. Thanks.

Just got a reply from TF, Inputs.io people are being taken care of first then he will soon start working on CoinLenders, so no idea what all will come of that, but my guess is the CoinLenders people will feel the brunt of the loss.

edit: he is using a sliding scale for inputs.io so I'm guessing he'll do the same for CoinLenders people... so I'm not expecting much back as I only had 8BTC with CoinLenders

...my guess is the CoinLenders people will feel the brunt of the loss.

THAT would anger me, as Coinlenders theoretically has assets loaned out, and eventually to be paid back. Some people may cut and run, but not everyone will, and he should have more than a few coin there now AND rolling in as people make their payments. Theoretically all of it.  Theoretically.  I keep saying that word.  I want to believe in honesty.
