TradeFortress is understandably busy so I post here in hopes that one of you can help me out: how can I reset my password on CoinLenders? I only made an account because of BTCINVEST forced divesting, and the website reports an error with my correct password, likely due to me using some special characters (funny that it let me choose this password in the first place). I can't find a reset password page, any suggestions?

I think you don't have to worry anymore if you are not in need of your coins right now.
If you want your coins back now, send an email with your bitcoin address to support@inputs.io. I guess TF is processing refunds to users as we speak, just give him a little more time.

Congratulations, you have figured out our web facing server runs on Linode. While it runs bitcoind (for blockchain access, verifying signed messages and pushtx), it contains zero coins and communicates securely to the hot pocket / "main" server, which also does it's own database integrity checks  Smiley

Since coinlenders is generating revenue over time, I hope we can get our full investment out.

BTW: theoretically, TF could run coinlenders just like pre-inputs times.

Same here, I didn't have a lot of Coins in inputs.io, but a good chunk in coinlenders.

Good  news is that since CL is asset backed, the impact of Inputs to us is lower.
Bad news is that we might be the last one to get on the repayment queue and our repayment portion might be lower in the worst case, depending on how TF would manage our stuff.

Yeah just got this email back from coinlenders support address after I hassled them a little:

Hi,

CL claims haven't been finalized yet. You'll receive an update in about a week.

Not sure if it's good news or bad.

What really pisses me off is I never wanted an inputs.io account, I just wanted to use my wallet directly. But nooooooo, CL made me get one so every time I want to withdraw/deposit I have to go through io which just adds another fucking layer of confirmations. I never stored anything on io, it was just a stupid way of getting my coins in and out of CL.
The sad part is I was withdrawing my coins to sell them

Sorry that isn't true. We're impacted as much or even more (since we're deprioritized?) than Inputs.io users.
Here is the email I just received:

Hi,

This claim involves CoinLenders which will be handled soon. Due to major hacks, Inputs does not have enough BTC to repay everyone fully which has also affected CoinLenders. If you have had balance shown on Inputs.io, we're dividing up the coins we do have left based on a sliding scale, and have sent it to the specified address. On your Inputs account, your balance should have flipped to the negative to indicate you've received a refund.

We apologize sincerely for the lost Bitcoins. It's been a very hard lesson for us, and we're sorry that we have to pass it onto our users. Please respond to the email if you have any queries.
