Yeah I was following those other addresses as well.

I dude that those address belongs to the hacker... (¿mixing btc?)

When looking at the transactions for the "mixing", I noticed the "Relayed by : Blockchain.info". So I wonder if the thief was dumb enough to use a wallet on blockchain.info, or use their (authenticated) API to broadcast them...
Of course it is in violation of the Blockchain.info privacy policy for them to disclose what they know about those addresses, or IP logs of associated API accesses, but if the law gets involved, I hope they will be able to cooperate.

Some quick unsubstantiated maths for you, maybe it will ease your pain or maybe you want to ignore it.

4100 stolen from inputs.
1000 donates from TF to cover losses.
=3100

Lets pretend 1/3 was for loose CL funds going in and out so that would bring it to around 1000.

We know at a minimum that that CL has 4000 worth of assets/loans etc.

So if we discount the interest and just think about the initial investment and ignore the profit on the loaned coins. a 30% haircut should be worst, worst case - longer term when assests are liquidated etc...  maybe less, maybe just loss of promised interest?

If CL is solvent. and he can repay our initial investments, I for one think that interest payments should be donated towards the out of pocket inputs users.

I´m not sure how accurate are those numbers, but I really hope CL is solvent and has enough assets to be liquidated. At this point I´m just too scared to think clearly and have little idea about investings.

I want to believe TF had some profitable economic backup plan, provided that the electronic backup was not good enough...

I want to believe and need to read the promised email from him soon to plan my survival experience from now on.

At this point, TF is truly stuck between a rock and a hard place. I certainly don't wish to be in his shoes at all. Even if he indeed scammed all of us out of that money (Which I doubt), I don't think he'd really get to enjoy it given how his identity is well known by now, and he was being trusted by highly-influential people in the Bitcoin community. That's why I'm confident he'll stick to his word.

Maybe I´d be able to totally agree with what that link says... some days ago.

Now, everything I can say is:

@ Tradefortress: liquidate coinlender´s assets, pay everybody and let us keep promoting bitcoin.

Learn from your mistakes (we learnt from ours, sure) and use your experience to reset your business career. You are young and life is long to keep regrets forever.

Let you and let us maintain this system alive.

(as I stated before, all my coins for the moment are sealed in coinlenders and if TF does not pay something, my very survival is questionable beyond the next few weeks, seriously)

Remember, never invest more that what you can afford to lose. I only have 1.8BTC there quite a lot considering my BTC holdings but nothing compared to other people.

perhaps a coinlenders default/theft was the goal all along.
It was always going to have bigger/longer deposits than a web wallet like inputs.
The inputs hack was a diversion/cover that distracts attention away from coinlenders. There certainly is no media coverage about the coinlenders situation.
It's not illegal to be an online web wallet. to issue certificates of deposit at extremely high interest rates could be securities fraud.
TF seems to be sensitive to that, first by changing the language on CL to be "fee rebates" and "a demo instance." Then yesterday, well after the whole fiasco, changing the listed interest rates from 22% apr to .0365% apr.

who knows. certainly not me, this is just a thought exercise as I wait to hear more from TF regarding my CL deposit.

Maybe he got a loan in a real world, possibly from some shady guy, or took a loan in a real bank to dabble in bitcoin? Smiley

Otherwise your post is a great advice, I always wandered how pathetic should a person be to seek an easy way out like this. Or some beggar sitting in a corner, wasting his miserable life away. Go rob a store or something. If you fail, they at least feed you in jail. Only reason to end you life would be to save some other(s).

Anyway, we all now should wait patiently for the news. TradeFortress have done so much for these years. And if he would like shed his responsibility, he'd have gone by now, instead of donating his stash out to all Inputs user. Moreover, the interest he set on coinlenders will be negative instead of 0.

Can you please tell us your source for these (bolded) figures?

Here is a VERY partial list of CL depositors - currently 3500+
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=328053.0

The money out his own pocket is visible on the blockchain from his personal address... and from what he has said about repaying people. As I said, unsubstantiated numbers... but you get the idea. There is surely a LOT more tied up in CL than the theft.

?

I very clearly said unsubstantiated.

People on that thread claim to have almost 4000 invested and that is only so far. That money has to be loaned out to generate the returns, right?!?!

Anyway, you can check his address in his sig.

These numbers are largely pointless, as only TF knows how hard the BTC he still has is working. We will see soon.

It is quite unacceptable that after the hacking occurred on around Oct. 26, he did not publish anything in time, and did not stop inputs.io and CL operation. Actually I created my account in both after that, and deposited my money into CL from Oct. 30 to Nov. 3. I'm actually not a part of the original loss!...

He keeps his word well for so long that I have deal things with keep. He keeps his word well. He can do nothing in this situation but to payback. Althouh he've shown he situation but this serious flaw can't just be un-remembered. People just dump neg tag to him..

Anyway, we all now should wait patiently for the news. TradeFortress have done so much for these years. And if he would like shed his responsibility, he'd have gone by now, instead of donating his stash out to all Inputs user. Moreover, the interest he set on coinlenders will be negative instead of 0.
