It will make etc price goes very high begore hard fork and callisto price will probably $20 at the launch since the coin in circullation also small ammount like etc. With their cold staking it will gives callisto appreciate in price since many people will stake it and help the network. And the price of callisto also can goes up higher if many people stake it.

I was wondering why ETC was going up so much today, but it will indeed have something to do with the Callisto airdrop.

Thanks for the link. But, so far I haven't seen any exchange update over there. Can anyone tell me whether myetherwallet (MEW) supports this fork or not?

This question is being asked by people much time but there is no specific answer to it, almost nobody don't know which wallet are they going to support. Mostly we have to get further update from the company so that we can store them in desired wallets.

How do I export private keys from TREZOR, to import them into a callisto wallet after airdrop.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I think Trezor has supported quite a lot of the 'big' forks.

Fork are not really valuable. They are valuable only at the start when there is usually a pump and then a dump. Only Bitcoin Cash really succeed to maintain and increase it's value.
For ETC, it is not a fork, but a sort of airdrop. It is not a copy of the current blockchain. I suppose that one Calisto won't be worth a lot at start. There is also more Calisto than ETC, so the value will be much less.

Of course, everybody has his own thought about the market and investment, so you are not bothering about the Callisto airdrop because you made the profit with ETC and it might drop after Airdrop. Maybe the price of ETC will increase to more than 100$ in this year for sure.

This is kind of what I hate about Crypto. Like some random guy decides to do a 1:1 airdrop on a coin, with the goal of manipulating the price.

Better use it as advantage 
In most cases - the price of coin will go up before future airdrop and will go down right after it. Sell right before airdrop starts and buy when price will hit bottom (if you don't want free coins/tokens from airdrop ofcourse)

There's some info coming out that there are bigger events than the Callisto fork at play here.  With Bitmain releasing their Asic's for Ethash based coins and with ETH making the switch to POS, there's only one way this could play out.  ETC. 

Bitmain won't invest tens to hundreds of millions in USD for Asic development and production for a coin that would switch to POS in 5 years or less.

I personally think that $100 before 5th March is fully possible. Don't forget that ETC is not a shitcoin like many others, and the value would rise also without the airdrop.

For the ones that asking for the best wallet, i think that Myetherwallet is the best for keep your ETC and receive the airdrop.

Not gonna even try predicting a fair price for Callisto because it is unknown, unseen, and demand is god knows where. But generally if we look backwards we can see these types of snapshots and forks become pressure for the buy side in order to get free coins. I got some ETC myself in order to get some free Callisto, only time will tell if that was a good or bad decision.
