My opinion about ETH

In my opinion , ETH is now more hot than BTC because the explosion of ICOs base on ETH Blockchain. During the recent dip, ETH price even a little come up, all altcoins and BTC holders lose funds but ETH holders still have profit. So i think that ETH will reach BTC price this year. What do you think guys?

I dont think ETH will reach bitcoin price, in my opinion bitcoin is just too mainstream to get dethroned for the most expensive cryptocurrency category. One thing i believe on though, is that in 2018 Ethereum will rise more percentage wise than bitcoin, so that being said, in my opinion you will make more money if you have your money on ethereum than if you have your money on bitcoin.

Ether is the best coin to invest now there is lots of successful ICO already implemented on ethereum blockchain its already running well . Lots of ICO's are coming based on ethereum blockchain . And also may be casper POS will be implemented in ethereum blockchain . Once it implemented staking will be more because minimum 1000 ether required to get staking reward. So there will be more stake holders.

You were right about that plus ETH has a active team, a lots of good projects, has a road map and have an active community. If you will base fundamentally ETH was better than BTC. But not all the people thinks about that some people that new in crypto world will say BTC is the King.

In any case, I think that a lot of work has been done, if viewed from the developers, they could seriously improve the token exchange rate, they are also planning to switch to POS, which will further increase the possibility for transmission, but the problem here is that POS is already centralization.

Ethereum will be a big hit this year, from 1:20 btc/ eth ratio last year, it will become like 1:5 ratio this year. The ETH community are rising which includes the ICOs, the Airdrops, tokens,alt coin which are ERC20 compatible, smart contracts and the EEA alliance. We will assume that the ETH blockchain and it network will not be congestive as the user are getting bigger each day.

this year maybe not, except when the bitcoin price fall so much and ETH keep steady. bitcoin still get more adoption and what ETH do only adoption because ICO's token, and we  all know that tokens not really trusted by some people

I believe that BTC is still king as there are more investors and money involved in its activity. While ETH awareness and importance are growing supported by a very solid and active community, BTC is more known and it is still a benchmark regarding to sentiments and trends for cryptomarket participants.

I totally agree with you. All of the new icos are using the Etherereum platform. this will cause Etherereum to be evaluated too much

I am somehow agree that ETH is now the favorite of many investors and getting more popular that's why it has a tendency to have a huge increase of price this 2018, so I guess many investors can have a higher profit from it, but I don't think it will reach the price of bitcoin because bitcoin will still recover and will make a new price high.

I can't say whether ETH's price would reach upto bitcoin's, but it surely will rise, I think it might currently be  one of the best coin out there for long term investments. I had sold my Eth last year and I regret it alot as it would have been nearly 2x now. As it also has much more benifits than bitcoin in terms of transaction fees, transaction completing time etc. and also it is safer as it doesn't have as much price drops as btc. So, investing in Eth now would definitely be a good idea.

Ether has already rise more than bitcoin in term of percentage increase. From January 2017  to August of the same year,  ether rose 3000%! And from August up till now ether already risen to 300% in value.

It's true that many ICOs are Eth based, like what's on my signature. Since it looks like Eth's really having its shine at the start of this year, even late last year. During the dips, I have to say that Eth investors were still gaining, and probably would gain more since they bought more Eth.

For me, investing money on ether now is great because there's a lot of successful ICO are already implementing blockchain ethereum now and it is already running well. Now many ICO's are going based on Ethereum Blockchain. Through this, possibility to increase the value of ether is high. Now the value of ether is in the stable mode and its increasing simultaneously. But to reach the value of bitcoin by ether now is impossible because the gap of value between  two coin are huge. To reach the value of bitcoin by ether its need a lot of mainstreaming. For now, implementing of ICO's on using ethereum blockchain is good start.

I would say, ethereum is a new crypto currency being one of the top 10 among the other crypto currencies in the world which is becoming more popular nowadays. Ethereum may have the possibility to rise just like bitcoin but this will take time to reach at a level where bitcoin price is currently right now and I think this crypto currency should be considered as one of the best to invest which is second to bitcoin as this will give potential profit to your investment.

I tend to agree with you...I think btc/ratio will go down and we will see how this will happen.
I hope both btc and eth will grow but eth more than btc

Do you really think that Ethereum price value will reach at $10,000 just in a year? Did you know that Bitcoin have been with lot of obstacles, issues and criticism that no altcoins have experience especially Ethereum before it reach almost $20,000 last year? I dont believed Ethereum will equal Bitcoin because for me even you hold a lot of Ethereum still at the end you will sell it to earn Bitcoin for Fiat and that will make Bitcoin will be stable than Ethereum.

Not gonna overtake bitcoin anytime soon but I do agree that holding Eth is more profitable than holding Btc. It has more use cases than the latter imo. It can be used as a mode of payment and can also be considered as a store of value--like bitcoin. The problem is, the concept of bitcoin is much easier understood by non-crypto people. With that, more people will push the price of bitcoin while eth on the other hand only has the ico craze and the people who already knows the space to push it's price up.

People see ethereum behind bitcoin and when they see btc price they are simply betting on ethereum to reach same price. But if you look at this whole ethereum is not best performing crypto in terms of price nor it will be best performing this year. There are many alts or shall I say shitcoins that have bigger potential just because they are not the best known and because they have low price. Don't forget that it is easier for a coin which price is less than a dollar to do 5x or more, whereas it is much harder for ether to do such growth in prices.
