In my opinion , ETH is now more hot than BTC because the explosion of ICOs base on ETH Blockchain. During the recent dip, ETH price even a little come up, all altcoins and BTC holders lose funds but ETH holders still have profit. So i think that ETH will reach BTC price this year. What do you think guys?
I doubt it, Ethereum is a good cryptocurrency but it has its own use and you cannot compare both of them because they have their own unique features. Bitcoin today is considered as store of value just like gold and not only for payment while Ethereum is a good smart contract platform for utility tokens. Yes but why can't Ethereum too be store of value? You buy it and store value. Then sell it and get cash - like Bitcoin. To me only advantage of Bitcoin is that it has more popularity then Ethereum. |

Its so hard to predict because both of it are the future of cryptocurrencies but i hope you understand that bitcoin is better as a payment instrument and ethereum is a very different from this,just imagine that this(eth) is a thing which helps blockchain technology to be more actual and realistic in real economy,in real world,anyway aims and specific goals are so different and both of it are the first in their sphere. Ethereum price is more stable in this last days but lets talk about it,All negative media sources are oriented to create bad news about bitcoin's bad sides thats why bitcoin is more volatility,and speculative behaviour againts ethereum isn't as bad as in first scenario. |

According to me ETH is the best coin to invest here. ETH value goes up a bit, ETH holders have a profit. While such chances fall short in other coins, investing in ETH always gives positive results.

I am firmly convinced that eth will take the reins off btc in 2018. It's just better, even with btc getting and lightning and actual scaling issues get fixed. The ethereum alliance is going to bring crypto into mainstream use. |

Yes maybe you are right. ETH looks very resistant in comparison to bitcoin and other alt coins. Maybe this coin will soon reach the same popularity as bitcoin. But ETH can not replace bitcoin because bitcoin is the most reliable crypto at the market.

Ethereum is the main gate platform of the incoming ico which was being happened a couple of years, and everybody know that, isn't right? And it has a big community anyhow in this field industry anyway. In fact, I am holding some of it though it maybe a few of it only but at least Iam saving it for the future, on which I thought it will surpass the value of bitcoin someday. BUt this is was just my opinion only. |

as the price of ethereum rises when another altcoin goes down it is true, I also observe the price of ethereum and up to now it is still improving even slightly. but if the ethereum will reach bitcoin prices this year it will be difficult, bitcoin prices are still too far for the chase, but I hope it will happen, because if it happens it will bring benefits to me. |

Eth is now the leading altcoin. Most of the services here accept eth as a medium of exchange. Its market cap reaches $106.6b, making the possibility to surpass btc higher. But that's not enough to just jump into conclusion that eth will surely surpass btc. But onething is for sure, it is better to hold eth than btc today.

I believe the next bitcoin will be the ethereum and I think it will happen in the next few years. But this year I don't think the price lf the ethereum reach what bitcoin reached. Because for me bitcoin will be still king in cryptoworld in the next few years. We don't know when ethereum replace bitcoin to the throne. But I hope the next bitcoin will be high amouny also and the fee is not like the fee of the bitcoin. But I think it's better if the price of ethereum and bitcoin is near to each other.

Not really. They are just different. Bitcoin is a first generation of cryptos (digital gold) used to transfer and store virtual money not to use it as a currency. Ethereum has smart contracts and somewhat better scalability however with the implementation of the lighting network bitcoin will solve that issue and will again be better on that matter than ethereum. Ethereum will still be relevant due to all the tokens that are dependent on it. |

I think if this year's ETH will exceed BCH and will be able to compete with bitcoin in volume and price per coin so I strongly support ETH for this year to grow even bigger

Yes your right, there are a lot of cryptocurrency in the market but ethereum coins today is the most profitable since there are a lot of consumers who are interested on investing on eth coins and that is the reason why the value is keep on increasing because of its higher demand than other altcoins. |

The ethereum alliance is going to bring crypto into mainstream use. I have to disagree though. I'm sure that ETH will also experienced the same problem that bitcoin is currency facing. When the coins grows, high cost of tx will be the main problem. ETH has big potential but I don't see it touching bitcoin price in the next 5 years. Good to see though that it was able to break the 4 figures. And the top price that I can speculate is $2K for this year. Unless bitcoin suffers a major crash and went down to $1K, I really can't see ETH taking the throne from bitcoin. Not even the Ethereum alliance can make a sudden pump to the price of ETH. |

Bitcoin is more popular still and Ether wont pass it. Whenever a new person gets into crypto its because of Bitcoin. They hear stories and watch news about all these Bitcoin millionaires. Bitcoin is everywhere. New people are likely to invest into Bitcoin right away until they find out about altcoins.

i absolutely agree that ETH is the best coin to invest for now, ETH is for long-term investments, in my opinion, Ethereum's price will rise on march,2018. It's very worth to invest in ETH right now, do not sell them till the price reach its peak. |

I am not very sure about etehrium can reach bitcoin price this year. I noticed bitcoin is more slow going up but its just temporary. When it has opportunity then boom. Etherium also very good move this because they are still going up when another in bloody. |
