I think Ethereum is one of the best coin to invest, but I dont think ETH will reach BTC price in this year (or in next year). A lot of begginers who just starting to learn crypto has heard only about Bitcoin and they are buying BTC at first. So BTC still much more popular among most part of people.

The initial target of the Ethereum market is slightly different from other Coin Digital because 99% of people using Ethereum are developers and programmers. The reason is simple, because they are very loving new technology and Ethereum is what they expect so far. Only in Ethereum where the lower-middle-level programmer can build a decentralized app (Dapps) and have full access to its protocol securities. The Eereereum does not work like BitCoin or other Alternative Coins designed to show the value of a currency used as a financial transaction. Ethereum is instead a "Token" that developers are required to operate their software / technology system in the Ethereum Platform; for example a train / car that needs gasoline to run.

In my opinion , ETH is now more hot than BTC because the explosion of ICOs base on ETH Blockchain. During the recent dip, ETH price even a little come up, all altcoins and BTC holders lose funds but ETH holders still have profit. So i think that ETH will reach BTC price this year. What do you think guys?
In my opinion, to make it in bitcoin price level it takes more courage and promotions for ethereum to do that. More adoptions and more investors to trust this technology. Yes ethereum is a good project, the smart contract seems to be useful as many new ICOs has adopted that technology. We just need to wait how far this ETH chasing the dust of Bitcoin or might overtake them sooner. |

my opinion about ETH is that , ETH is very successful altcoin in cryptocurrency world ,it has a great and bright future but i don't think so it can reach bitcoin. bitcoin is still on number 1.

I do not think it will reach the price of ethereum bitcoin at the moment but I agree with everything you say.Ethereum investors are steadily gaining those.I have invested in incredibly popular myself but it may take some time to reach bitcoin levels

The way how people acknowledge ether as a cryptocurrency is overwhelming. Considering the fact that ether has a lower transaction fee and its transaction confirmed within a second compared to bitcoin which is confirmed within a minute, it is no doubt that ether is one of the best coin to invest with and this is the reason why many ICO are base on Ethereum blockchain. Since both bitcoin and ethereum are both base on the principle of blockchain technology, ether was made not to compete with bitcoin but competition in cryptomarket specially the investment and trading perspective is unavoidable. As the bitcoin price increases, ethereum price increases as well. On the other hand, when bitcoin price decrease, ether price follows. Meaning, ethereum price is still base on bitcoin. I also believe that how people accept ether as a queen of cryptocurrency gives contribution to reach bitcoin price soon. But, I do not think this will become possible this year. It will still take a long period of time before it will happen. I believe that it is healthier that the ether price will increase gradually rather than increasing its price suddenly that leads to suffering from correction. |

The flexibility to launch ERC20 tokens and easy customization provided ETH as a perfect platform for newly developed startups launch their own tokens. ICO and distribution of tokens became much more easier. The only concern regarding ETH platform is the speed and gas price. Recent cryptokitty congestion made alternative platforms like waves very popular and anyone can see lots of tokens are generated in waves ( http://dev.pywaves.org/assets/) as well. Bitcoin remaining the king even in near future, my prediction is, these platforms will emerge much more with much more stability as the community involves more. NEO and EOS (and lots more) are the closest competitors in this segment. |

Yeah, ETH is likely the queen of the cryptocurrencies market not so it's not that easily to reach to it at all. That's why i always said invest in Etherum is a smart way to go. |

Your thoughts are right. Ethereum has huge potential and sometimes i just don't get why ethereum has lower price comparing to bitcoin. Probably ethereum will beat by the price btc later. |

You can draw an analogy with classical fiat money. For a better understanding of the roles of the Etherium and Bitcoin. Bitcoin as a banknote with a large denomination or coins of precious metal. ETH as banknotes with a small denomination and ordinary iron coins with an even smaller denomination. Etherium serves for everyday transactions and small purchases. Bitcoin for accumulation and single transactions for moving large assets

Bitcoin is really establish for a long year in crypto. Now bitcoin price is really gone so far amazingly for more than 5 years. Ethereum can make it too. It will reach bitcoin price now but it cannot reach what bitcoin reach so far.

Eth is better than btc in my opinion, but i wouldn't be so sure that Eth will beat Btc so fast. Considering Casper, plasma, raiden - Eth may really beat by and become number one currency. Eth is easier to use than btc, so newcomers would definitely use Eth. |

My view of eth is that eth may surpass BTC, but it is certainly not now, because BTC has been recognized by many people in the world, and the number of followers of eth has not been able to keep up.

Bitcoin is really set up for a long investment in crypto, I think bitcoin now it's low value but I believe the end of 2018 will achieve high value. For Ethereum it has huge potential and it caters to daily trading, ETH is very successful in the cryptocurrency world, has a great and bright future but it can not pass bitcoin.

Your observation is kind of good and I want to comend you for that. For me I think ETH may not be to catch up with Btc in price not anytime soon. I think the highest it can go this year is $5000 and that is if we are to see any miracle. However, i do hold a strong belief that its the next big thing after Btc.

I also think that ETH is more hot than BTC because there are so many ICOs base on ETH Blockchain, not only that, the price itself is so stable so ETH is a very good choice to invest for long-term investment, i already invested a lot of ETH, it's very worth it. |

For me, ETH is more profitable than BTC. Even if eth moves slow but its course are rising and giving as a good result in long term. ETH doesn’t dump hard because it always correcting its line. |

I have observed that Ethereum is the choice of most ICOs and crowdfunding projects. So I think they lots of supporters. Also, I believe that Ethereum have faster transaction time (that is against BTC) and have a slightly different economic model than Bitcoin that it is released the same amount each not as the halving of BTC.
So if your into ICO investment, Ethereum is a good choice.
