In my prediction Bitcoin can reach that price but not this year, because now to many bad news and FUD in same times, and the market look boring now and need take rest. The price can reach that price could be in 2 years. Although adoption of blockchain technology now in many kind of industry but there are also many problem in cryptocurrency market like regulation and hacking.

Hard to predict and maybe cannot reach $100,000 in 2018. Though we know that BTC would be the greatest thing in the world since its decentralization and anonymous, few people, compared with the amount of people, in the world has ever used BTC for investment or business. Current  market condition is bearish so if we take a look at the end of 2018 100k$ is really unrealistic but once bearish is over and bull market gets in we don't know what will happen in BTC price at the end of the year but hopefully 50k$  is a good price and expect alt coins price may follow also

Of course it will not.
PEople will be lucky when they see 20k in bitcoin of above this year. May be it will be twice or less in this year to reach 20k. But I don't think the target will reach 25k or more in the year or later for bitcoin.
IT will bring the crown by the end of the year...

I think 100,000 it’s very big and unbelievable price prediction for 2018. Maybe in near 5 year, if the world support cryptocurrency and legalize in many big countries. But I think ETH will get more likes than btc and have a better future

I think everything will be more seriously about buying and investing. When the price marks to this price it will be a good news to some holders who will luckily trade their coins. I think the answer if their problem will be solved.  Maybe in the next few years might this happen.

I cant predict but,  but we can hope for this, although 100000$ in 2018 it can possible but now market are down for some fake news. I saw a news someone predict btc will touch 64k$ in this year. So its possible.

We can see that in the early days of the year 2018 bitcoin prices are showing tremendous devastation, the bitcoin price from $ 19800 has plummeted and continued to plunge for days, immediately after reaching the $ 6,000 mark. has started to recover but the pace of recovery is very touching and has now recovered to the $ 9600 mark. I think the bitcoin price will not reach $ 100,000 in 2018 with the current slow recovery.

Well, i'm rooting for it and some people here will consider bitcoin as the main investment asset in cryptocurrency, 100,000 usd is what i wanted to see in the next few months or more so better to hold bitcoin in your wishlist so the value will increase.

I firmly believe that bitcoin can not reach $ 100,000 by the end of 2018. We can see the days of bitcoin prices are dropping sharply after reaching $ 11,800. As far as I'm concerned, the $ 12000 level is a very difficult transition and may continue to fall further. Because of that uncertainty, I believe the bitcoin price will not reach $ 100,000 at the end of the year.

I did not really see the majority picking that from this thread. There could be a possibility considering how the year ended in 2017 and if we are to judge with respect to that, one may believe the possibility is there. However, we should not always expect so much and in as much as we are bullish on btc, testing new ATHs year in and year out may not always be the case and $100,000 though is a pretty huge one but who knows? If we end up having another FOMO year, that may be the case.

There's a very little chance of having bitcoin reach that $100k mark in this year based on the movement of bitcoin right now. Bitcoin have more price decrease than increases these past few months so reaching $100k is unlikely to happen this year. Maybe $15-20k price is more likely to happen than $100k if more investors begin to buy bitcoin again. So lets hope bitcoin rise again so that we the long time holders will benefit of that.

Though bitcoin is believed to reach millions of dollars in the future but i don't think that it can reach hundred thousand this year. Maybe the highest price bitcoin can get this year is around 30K USD - 50K USD only. And even around that market price range, it will surely give you a good profit already.

I don't think bitcoin will be able to grow to 100,000 USD in 2018. In my opinion, bitcoin can grow to $ 40,000 dollars.
