This is not a big deal in my opinion.  Personally I've gotten sick of facebook and use it less and less but when I am on..I don't see how this will be a very big deal.  When I log in to facebook I see about 20% friends and family stuff and 80% articles from the pages that I like.  I "like" quite a few financial pages so all that I see are Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency related posts from these outlets.  I can't remember ever seeing anything Bitcoin or cryptocurrency related in terms of ads. Bitcoin is such a hot topic even those whom don't follow any sort of financial page are still likely to pick up news via some other outlet. The point here is people are often still seeing a lot from Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency even if ads have been disabled.

It's possible this is also short term.  Youtube was actually allowing ads from Bitconnect (well known Ponzi) for some time, and coupled with Russian election ads..facebook looks to just being a little extra cautious right now.  I hope at least.

Sudden I hair a news that Facebook banning All crypto ads. If that's true,  Will  be negative for our Loving Bitcoin (all over crypto)?
I also see a News.

We are cryto lover people, but why Facebook did that? What's the man reason?

I think the reason behind why facebook had banned all the advertisements regarding bitcoin is because they are protecting bitcoin from the hackers. Think of it, if facebook users click the advertisemens that will lead them to phishings sites.and it asks for the their personal information what do you think will happen? So, I think it is the reason of facebook.

I have also heard that Mark Zuckerberg doesnt likematter facebook ads relayed to crypto and icos and he banned them. It could be real because there was a period when people where spamming with ICO ads on facebook wich was kind of annoying for the users. Of course this is going to affect cryptos and their prices because facebook is one of the biggest platform where you can promote anything because millions of people use it everyday. But still there are a lot of other ways to promote you ICO through the internet and this is not going toto affect a lot cryptos

Who cares about that? If you want to update with ICOs, bitcointalk is enough!

Yeah i guess but i dont really think in my opinion the ads is paying them and they could have a great profit in displaying ads of the company and whey so im thinking maybe they wanted their own. Irtusl currency or thr fscebook is paid to banne the ads for real and i guess also maybe cryptocurrency could affect the facebook in aspects.

On the off chance that Facebook bans advertisements about crypto, it doesn't generally make a difference much for a decent digital money in the event that it has got great financial specialist Base and item based, at that point there is nthng to stress. I would simply hold and sit tight for long as great crypto would harvest a few benefits over the long haul. I would propose hold up pause and procure benefits

As far as I know advertisers of cryptocurrency ICOs and other companies are still showcasing their tokens in facebook. Maybe facebook has blocked some form of the advertising or people are bypassing the targeted members to provide different interests for their customers.

Shocked So is this news absolutely true? or just a "maybe" news? Because I still see advertisements of token sales on facebook all the time.

if this news is true, then that sucks for actual startups and token sales that are actually legit and want to build a better future for crypto. But I guess since there are scams out there, and since facebook has no way to differentiate between which ones are good or bad.. Then it's safer for them to just block all of them. Still sucks though.

it's really hard to tell the legit from the scammers and those that believe they are legit but wouldn't be able to deliver on their promises and can't really solve the problems they want to solve in the first place. most ico's haven't delivered on their timelines and have no working product to show except for a whitepaper and animation video

I still do not think it is a good policy. There should be a provision for submitting legit documents so that the startups can prove that they are doing legitimate business not scams.

This is a bad news and it'll be very bad if other networks also try to follow facebook. We saw most popular brand had an interest about crypto in fast years (even Microsoft), but, we feel something annoying today. High level of Scams, that's the first reason behind what we're experiencing today. So, this is a problem of Bitcoins community itself.

I think that is because of the high number of scammers utilising their platform. So for them to be in tge safer side (they want to protect thier image), they won't allow the adds. The fact is that, it is very difficult to tell whether a project is scam- that is why many countries have started strict regulations on crypto (anyways that will affect our activities, but it will also help in some way only if it is effective)
