Yes it can happen but even you pick btc or eth still they have different value so no need to ask a question like this another thing any coins here are good even they have low price in market because we can earn by that,I think always study all kinds of coins here for the knowledge.

Thats right both of the two has their own value to be tackled, and maybe bitcoin is dump for now but we know thats there's a proper time for that to take high again, likewise in ethereum there's time for it to dump and high but we know ethereum is one of the most trusted crypto so theres a possible to reached the top.

You can choose both, why not consider buying bitcoin at the same time? Joining ICO's, investing to ETH and as well as shopping now with bitcoin? Bitcoin isn't the only that keeps on going down but many altcoins as well. Everyone is focused with the price movement of bitcoin thanks to the Jordan Belfort FUD about bitcoin after getting interviewed. This must be another reason why the price of bitcoin is going down. For now ETH is fast growing in its price and value maybe due to demand in the market but I have an idea that bitcoin will also rise up after chinese new year I guess because nowadays chinese sell their bitcoin for spending chinese new year that is one reason bitcoin is getting low in price. This is only my idea.

For me,  All crypto currency have a different value so no need to compare it. Both of them are good even the price of bitcoin now is falling. It's a normal in crypto world. There's a time the price is pumping and dumping. Just wait and be patience.

Ether is still somehow over $1100 when Bitcoin is less than $9600. That's pretty darn amazing IMO. Maybe we'll see the flippening in the coming weeks?

For me better analyst first before you invest your money, see which chart will growth in short term and long term. Many people says better choose Bitcoin, my opinion about Bitcoin now almost same movement like Ethereum and some Alternate Cryptocurrency, because of some country regulation banned cryptocurrency. But we hoping it will recover soon as possible in this month. I would not say much about it, because it too hard to predict now.

It is already at the top, he is fast, he is popular, he is very much in demand by many ICO, he has low commission and fast transactions, he is already at the top of my heart. Ethereum is the prince of cryptoworld.

Even if the current situation isn't promising for the decentralized BTC and even if the Ethereum will try to use this newly created opportunity to grow higher in demand and price Bitcoin will recover. Ethereum will for sure triple its price it has now but it cant be compared to the status that the BTC has achieved through the years. Obviously ethreum and I choose ETH not because of bitcoin dump but because if the stability and steady increase of ethreum as it has become one of the most trustable crypto of this generation.

As of this moment it's definitely ETH can be choose by many due to it good performance on this year. Well, since bitcoin getting dump as time goes by many people are panic selling to cut off their losses. The performance of bitcoin become low but some speculations stated as well as those experts they will still preferred on bitcoin but good for long term investment.

Ethereum is a strong competitor of Bitcoin and it has a lot of strong factors that can give it the edge take over the market dominance from Bitcoin.

One of its major factors that I believe is a cause for it competing strongly against Bitcoin is the rise of its use in ICOs and also for ERC20 tokens.

It only happen that mostly all tokens created are ERC20 supported which made easy to convert into ethereum. With this feature of ethereum , it made to be more stabilize in the market. And also because in the sense that, majority of investors are now engaging into altcoins which preferably they are using eth than of bitcoin as their coin base for investment.
