Can ethereum reach the top?

Ethereum is a strong competitor of Bitcoin and it has a lot of strong factors that can give it the edge take over the market dominance from Bitcoin.

One of its major factors that I believe is a cause for it competing strongly against Bitcoin is the rise of its use in ICOs and also for ERC20 tokens.

I believe that a strong competitor of bitcoin, not Ethereum, but bitcoin cash. this coin really deserves attention, all the people who have in the portfolio of investments, crypto-currencies. Ethereum, will soon go by the wayside, it will not grow, because very well-known ICO companies create their coins without reference to the ERS20 or 230, etc.

You should not predict in a general way, give a specific goal, for example, you set the target eth will reach at $ 1,500. That will be better for you, clear goals will help you succeed.

ethereum has so many advantages comparing with bitccoin. it is faster, has a larger network size and fees are less. so i think ethereum has a potential to reach the top in long term. and vitalik is a such a clever guy that can make it happen.

Althoguh the whole market is just not dependant on the coin features and frankly speaking it doesnt do much but its community to judge which coin deserve to have certain amount of value.
Being better than bitcoin in technical aspect doesnt instantly mean it will become #1

yeah,, ethereum have a strong community,, so this coin is have a lot of chance to growing hard,
many project born in ethereum blockchain,, but the popularity of bitcoin is never replaced by any altcoins thats my opinion
so, its very impossible if eth can replaced bitcoin in the top

I wouldn't compare something that has adoption with something that brand new and doesn't have proof of trust from the society. Bitcoin and Ethereum are main assets right now. Bitcoin because it was first successful crypto currency, and Ethereum because of huge number of ICOs based on ERC-20 token standard. As for ICOs most of them will fail and risk is huge for investing. But Ethereum can outperform Bitcoin, I agree.

For now i would prefer Ethereum because of the stability of price and the demand on the market. Ethereum offers a fast transaction with lesser fees. But i doubt bitcoin will again rise after the Lightning Network will be fully implemented and working.

To escape from the effects of speculators is possible only with a comprehensive analysis of the technology on which the altcoyin is based: if it is really promising (for example, ETH), even the combined efforts of many manipulators will not be able to stop a reasonable growth in the rate.

Ethereum is very potential to invest in the long term so I think that if there is a savings then investing in ETH is the right thing to do. ETH is the most practical coin in the cryptocurrency market and that is what makes me appreciate the potential of ETH.

for now I think ethereum is very potential for long term investment and the price is quite stable, ethereum is a multi function platform that offers faster transactions and now ethereum is becoming more popular and most ico are using the ethereum platform.

You are right, vitalik is a genius and ethereum platform is very useful
But, i believe the best cryptocurrency is bitcoin, now or later
