Staying calm is really very difficult. For those who first start trading - it is very difficult not to panic and not to make wrong decisions. I remember when I started trading, it was 2015, it was too difficult for me to be calm. I was very nervous all the time.

Actually having those feelings and all usual and you can say to yourself that this is it, this is the test of patience and this is what makes the traders complete. I mean we're all human and it's fine to feel those but don't embrace it, feel it for a moment and let go. Once we feel it, we feel more calmer than ever and your journey starts here.

i never worry about my bitcoin, in fact, i seldom see my bitcoin on the wallet, i already plan to hold btc for a very long time and the price have little influence on me indeed

I recommend to you that you check your bitcoin more often maybe you know you are not going to sell but you need to check that your coins are okay you never know when a hacker may get access to one of your wallets and steal your bitcoin and you need to be able to reduce the damage and that is only possible if you are alert.

Frequently checking his bitcoin might make him kind of obsessed to his investment. Obsession might lead him to make unwanted or regretful decisions which might make him suffer later. Its better to leave his investment along check after a long time. Moreover if his coins get hacked, there is nothing much he can actually do, since he can not reverse the transactions.

You do not really need to check your bitcoin every hour or even every other day, if you are holding for the long term you still need to check your coins periodically maybe once a month, that way you can check how your investment is going and if something fishy is happening which your stored coins.

Shorting can be a great way to make a lot of money but at the same time it's quite risky, especially in the market of cryptocurrencies where a coin can skyrocket almost immediately, if you are in the right side and bought the coin you can make a lot of money but those that are shorting the coin can lose everything if they do not have a sell order.

I think now is the time to buy more. Everyone is panicking and afraid. As a real investor, we should take the opportunity to buy and wait for it to show off in 2018.

The prices become most inaccurate when people are selling just because the next guy is selling.    Its like mexican wave or something, people dont question it and the direction comes without reason.   
Right now there is a negative effect from the end of tax year and some news of adverts for crypto being reduced.   There'll still be adverts somewhere as the internet is not just the largest companies only.

The prices are going down and I think it is right that we should be calm. Make this as an opportunity to buy bitcoin now that it is low. And keep it until the prices become high, patience is a virtue. Don't panic.

Everybody can't just feel the same, why? how about those newcomers who bought during ATH of bitcoin? which is at a price of $19k, imagine how much ones loss they are experiencing right now even if you tell them to hodl, although we know that prices being so cheap is not forever but how long it will take to recover again.

You make it seem like they bought 50 BTC at $19k when they only bought fractions and loss probably half money or less if they pulled the plug.

You can lose more now buying at $7k and have it fall back to $2k

Love these words. There's no argument with that statement. Just my personal opinion, Markets have cycles. If you can't ride them out, then this isn't for you. Everyone is talking about his own favor, So it's much better than follow the market rather admire that shit talk.

That's the only thing we can do anyway, we can cut loss and regret it when we see that the market arise, we should be consistent on our decision, if we want to keep it then keep with no doubt on what is happening.

I agree, but there are still most of us doesn't believe that bitcoin will rise up again in the future because they are just believing with those fake news that is spreading the whole time, that buys bitcoin price is dropping drastically.

That is indeed what I do - I almost completely avoid checking balances during the bearish trend.
For the same reason, I also avoid watching the news on a telly.....

That is indeed what I do - I almost completely avoid checking balances during the bearish trend.

Well coffee sometimes brings anxiety to people so i'd skip on the coffee but i'm ready to ride out whatever's coming our way here. I don't even mind looking at the price plummetting. I'm past that stage right now and basically i'm just looking at it as a long term investment that may take a little longer to reap the rewards.

I believe that bitcoin  or the market will be back to normal.  So keep calm and don't panic and buy more as you can. Who knows by the end of this year we get surprise that market will green day again.
