DeepOnion. The community and forum are fun and huge and always helpful, the team is always there to answer questions and very transparent, new features coming soon, more exchanges, mobile wallets and always keeping up with the best upgrades like newest tor, meek and OBFS4.

I completely agree, you cannot go wrong with this project IMO. There are projects out there such as Monero that have a great name in the crypto community but DO is just something special IMO. Great community, great developers and great original features!

Thank you for this great comparison post. I gave you merit. I think Monero is the best one. It's the most reliable privacy coin for me. There are some coins in the list I didn't know how to work but now I know.

Great list and I have most them. Monero will still be there at the top but I think DeepOnion will have better features soon.

My favourite ones are Monero and ZenCash. Perhaps Spectrecoin as well.

Me too I invested in DeepOnion and ZenCash. Actually I'm taking part of the free DeepOnion airdrops: it is a nice and elegant way to spread, fairly distribute your projects shares, your coins in this case, between the community. I think could be interesting for everyone give a look at the website and at the whitepaper...

In my opinion, it is better to make your own research and trust your guts. The most of the privacy coins are undervalued right now. The best opportunity is to find a privacy-related project with a low total supply (less than 100M), that way the price will be increasing much faster. I recently found one project called Ethereum Meta, it is related to anonymity and untraceable transaction. They have a very interesting project to build the Anonymous E-Market Place. They are on Pre-ICO stage right now, you can check their website: https://ethermeta.com/Or even better go through their Bitcointalk thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2659058.0

In this list, Monero is dominating the privacy coinmarket. Nav, and verge are highly underrated coins. sure they have much more potential in the future.

In my particular case, I'm very concerned about privacy (that is mainly why I use Linux ), I have invested in the following two projects. ZenCash and DeepOnion. Both of them are quite young and both of them can hide you IP and (Deeponion is a sort future) are able to make untraceable transactions. I think that if somebody want a privacy coin, these two facts (anonymity and untraceable transactions) are the main pillars.

I'm a real privacy coin hoarder and I own several of the listed ones. from large to smaller bags. As an early adoptor I made good profits on Monero and Dash. These were my largest bags measured in $USD I've sold part of my Monero and Dash bags to invest in newer low market cap privacy coins with great potential. My biggest low market cap bag is DeepOnion as I think the tech is outstandind (Native Integrated with latest TOR version, OBFS4 + meek, Stealth addresses). I strongly believe the DeepOnion will be competing with the "big guys" in the mid term. There are several other promising low market cap projects where I'm investing smaller amounts. So just sharing my view instead of bashing other coins. For all the Privacy coin fans, A nice article that you can share with people that don't understand why privacy is important because "they have nothing to hide": https://steemit.com/anonimty/@andhovesyan/it-s-not-a-secret-it-s-just-none-of-your-business

Thank you so much for this. What the most I really like is Verge, verge is the best for privacy coins because Verge developers are really active, they are making the project more interesting and has different special features that can boost the privacy of every people using the Verge.

For my level of knowing ZCash is most privacy at the moment. They even implemented their ZSL technology for JP Morgan's Quorum enterprise platform.

Hi, thanks for a link to that great article. Privacy coins have a great future as (hopefully) more and more people will get aware of how important their privacy is.

xspec, cloak , grs, electroneum, xvg, xst, safex. about to go to places.
Hi, I have added Electroneum to the list as it is a Monero fork and it's quite popular. Their team seem to be good in marketing.

Dear Crypto community,
Because the privacy of transactions is, in my view, one of the most important features that cryptocurrency should have - no one wants Big Brother to look at where, how much, and why you use your money - I tried to make an overview of private coins and their main features. I wonder which privacy coin you see as the best one ? Also, if I missed any good privacy coin, please write about it in this thread.
Monero Monero uses Ring Confidential Transactions to improve privacy and security. By bundling the sending and receiving of public keys with older network transactions, a “mixer” is created that is capable of obfuscating addresses. On top of Ring Confidential Transactions, Monero makes use of ring signatures and Stealth addresses to hide both the sender and the receiver in a transaction.
I am not agree with that list, if you check tecnical chart of that coins you will find out that they have manly resistant and you can choose other coins to investing with lower resistance level.

I don't understand - you mean that all the privacy coins are at technical resistance levels? What a nonsense. Look at graphs
