So I thoght this could be of help for some that also in search so they will also be inspired .. maybe they could also ad stuff arround here that could be of help!

Research it takes a few days/weeks so if u're in this fase take your time.

1.Forum search about the coin;
2.Join the telegram group and try to interact with the members;
3.Try to make a post on the forum and also see the crowd sentiment;
4.See some data on coinmarketcap.com , : https://icodrops.com/ , https://icorating.com/
5.Watch this tool from investing.com - find here the explination: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2873063.msg29503403#msg29503403
**LATER EDIT:
6. Team - research moust of the members on linkedin and google , also the backers or advisors.

Doing this can be of help to get a sense of a really good buy... at least this is what  I do.

What are your thoughts ? How do you do it??

Cheers!

Those are good reviews. I also do those things before buying the coins. Moreover, I always check their rate and volume in the coinmarketcap. Additionally, when I want to buy coins from ICO, I will also learn the concepts whether interesting or not. When it has a product in the future, it will be better.

Checking the infornation about a certain crypto that you are planning to invest would be a wise decision in order to avoid loss of profit since not all cryptos are profitable for a long term. Also, some cryptos are having below ICO price after being listed on different exchangers which scares the investors especially at this moment whereas the market shows extreme volatility

Perfect solution and guidance.

Altcoins are risky and thus be invested require proper due dilligence. Its always good to rely on influencers like ICO drop etc for expert comments. It is wise to join the community as well bcz you get to hear both sides of the argument and then make your own judgement. Cheers!!!

Your suggestion seems to be quite effective and I hope it can help the layman in cryptocurancy. hopefully.
I'm always looking at their website and how it's designed and if there's nooby bugs. I also see social media accounts and team activities. It's also advisable to see each team member via LinkedIn or something like this. that's my experience, but everyone has their own way of choosing a potential coin.

Yes, checking their product is also important. We can see how ready they are by knowing their concept and product to be offered to the investors. I also agree that we must join their community channel to know the progress and information about the project or coins.

Before i can buy an altcoin, i will make alot of research about the project both on this forum and other forums generally.
I always download the whitepapers and read them to understand the project i want to invest in very well, i make sure i understand the basis of the project and what the project looks like and also on which blockchain it is built on.  I will understand the project very well before going on investment in a project to avoid scam project

The more work will be done before the purchase of altcoins, the greater the probability of investment success. You need to consider many different factors that may affect the price of the coin in the future, and you need to choose the right time to buy, so as not to buy at the maximum price at the peak of pump.

You should first familiarize about the coin you want to buy. You can search information or browse in internet what and how that coin work. Ylu can also search the feedbacks of those people who bought that before and if it is worthy to buy. Make a lot of research and you can monitor the coin and if it okay with you then buy it.

You need to study its history, the graphics of the price, where was its bottom and its All time high. Also, you can check the new upcoming events on coinmarcetcal.com for this coin.

Also an important thing - you need to check the market value of the project, this is a very major factor, also the project has to be traded on major exchanges with good volumes, not shit exchanges.

Many actions that coincide. I look at the coin, go to the site, look at the team, open the road map and analyze everything goes according to it, look with what partners the cooperation is concluded and on what exchanges are now traded. If everything suits me, then I buy, if there are doubts, then I pass by.

Regarding tip no. 4, that is also one of my factor that I consider whenever I choose a coin but when a certain topic about it are discussed here in the forum like ico ratings are being paid so that they will have a high rating. I became skeptical now whenever I see a 5/5 rating. So in result, I end to focus more on their roadmap and try to determine if it is achievable or not. That is one of my basis now.

I often view cryptocurrency calendars such as https://cryptocalendars.com/ or https://coinmarketcal.com/. If a coin has important events in an upcoming month it can be pumped.

Of course, you have to check social media networks, maybe this project is dead for a long time ). Also look at a telegram chat to know spirits of investors there.

I believe that before we are taking an altcoin for trading or investment, we should take some research about the coins, make sure that its the best that we could pick and would give a good return.

Those are some good points to consider when going to pick the altcoin to buy. Additionally, let's analyze deeper the token supply and volume in the market. It will help us to know whether the coins are more valuable or not. Analyze also the concept of the coins so that we will know in the future, the coin will survive or not, will be still utilized or not.

Yes, this is a very good advice and it should be very helpful for people who have problems searching for good altcoins to invest in. If these steps are followed duly, you will be able to make good decision of the altcoin to invest your money in.
