Why do you want high price of bitcoin after all?

Everybody here wants the bitcoin price to go higher and higher. It means more profit especially to the people who hold large number of bitcoins. It also means that a lot of people are now getting aware of it and the demands are getting bigger. We are always on watch of the bitcoin price because it is our opportunity to gain more.

We all wanted high price, higher than 1000$ and got it, we got even 19k and there people were hoping more than 20K, they think like it's infinitive.
Did so high price do a good job? No, higher satoshi/byte fees became even higher in value because of price rise, some exchangers closed registration and etc. In reality there was no need of 19k but I think currently it's best to see price between 5000-8000$. There isn't so much demand.
You want high price to get much from holding? Seems you hang on bitcoin and are only selfish.

We all want it so we need to wait now because the value of bitcoin now is too low we need to buy more if the bitcoins go dip buy and buy. The bitcoin now is $8000 do we need to buy now? Or waotnfor the dip further ? So just incase bitcoin decreased more dont worry bitcoin will rise more and more again.

If an investors wanted a much higher profit from his investments, I don’t consider that as selfishness. The high demand is dependent to popularity and we can’t stop it. I don’t say that there is something wrong with your concern but it’s not realistic as this technology is open to the public and not restricted to just specific individuals in this world.

Well some people really wanted to have a high price because many of them is depending on a bitcoin profit some people here is  not an investor or maybe trader and they really use bitcoin as thier way of paying i think the majority here is the people who really joind a signature campaign and they make thier bitcoin always available for  good so then if bitcoin drops most of as really feel bad because tbe exchange or maybe the convertion is really affected.

It may be because when they expected bitcoin to reach at least $10k by end of last year it went more than that, so basically people think by now that bitcoin can reach twice of what they expected it to be. I think most people in this forum who are earning bitcoin are expecting bitcoin to reach a high price but it is just that when it skyrocketed most of them got greedy and wants bitcoin at a much higher price, not really thinking that the transaction fees would go up as well.

It is only natural that someone wants more profit and that it is human. Not all people are born from rich families, but also from poor families, and people who work to earn income in order to meet the needs of his life. Likewise with bitcoin if the butcoin price is high, I think it's a good thing because we benefit from it.

most of people liked the high price because they want to take benefit from long term holder but indeed if the price will higher more than $20k then this is not good too for the fees of transactions because following the price then the fees also will very high but if the price only at range such as OP said then i think most people even does not liked the situations because for trading purposse stable price is not good and in my view in this case people more likely to liked if bitcoin price increase day by day and they can take the benefit from it

@OP the points you have said is good,but what if you are an investor and you have invested a lot of money in it,the price is an important factor and this is the main reason people are considering to invest in it as you could multiply your wealth in a short time,i like the current price levels especially because of the higher transaction charges,but once it goes down i would like to see another rally.

Everyone who invests into bitcoin he wants to make profit and profit comes when prices rises so it’s a common sense thing that as the prices will rise profit will increase and here in bitcoin everyone invest because to earn high amount and spend wherever he wants to and as the prices get high the pleasurable moment for the investors arise and nowadays investors are worried because of prices and waiting for profit.

I don't care about high fees.. high fees is still better more than I should see bitcoin prices continue to decline, I am a holder and I can't sell my bitcoin in low price, I want to get a lot of profit and that can happen if bitcoin in the high price.

Bitcoin having a high price really matters for all of the bitcoin holders. It serves as a go signal that people can now cash it out and hold the cash to buy more bitcoin once the value decreases again. The process is just an unending cycle and I would say that the government is not involved in all of it which is good.

Bitcoins price going up and down really matters to us people investing on it, this is how it goes, when you buy bitcoins at its lowest price, youre lucky, cause when it goes up, you'll gain more than what you invest for when it goes up, but when bitcoin is high, you cant just buy bitcoins with that state cause its high so when you buy it with higher price, it might be difficult for you to gain more than what you invest for, or it will lead you to loss of profit from it. So thats why bitcoins price really matters to us users of bitcoin.

The general idea in investing is to make a profit out of our investment (aka ROI). I wouldn't necessarily call it selfishness, it's just part of the business. While it is true that too high of a price for BTC is something most, if not all, people want. . .it's still not without it's adverse effects on the market as you have already mentioned. At a glance reading this post I think your words are true, but there is also an unreasonable like "bitcoin price will be dangerous if continuous rise in price" I think it does not matter even can benefit traders,
about the bitcoin delivery fee that could be the problem at this time because it is true that in your say bitcoin fee increase will be very expensive it's only 1 transaction you try to imagine you send 1000 addresses to a very different address very bad.

Indeed you can call it selfishness or what ever you need since we have to get the most highest benefit that we can on the grounds that that is the fundamental motivation behind why do we contribute. Every one of us needs benefit so don't state that we don't need the high cost of bitcoin.
