Why do you want high price of bitcoin after all?

Well, I am not a bitcoin hodler, the main reason I will want a little increase of the bitcoin from the 8000$ it is now is basically because of the tokens I have. The dip in the Bitcoin value has also affected virtually all of them; making them red and selling will be in loss! So, I will like a bit increase and price stability of Bitcoin to about 10,000$.

it depends on the situation because if you invested your money when bitcoin is low of course you want bitcoin to be high in order to have a big profit but if you are waiting for the right time to buy bitcoin you are waiting to become bitcoin in a low price.

I want a high price for fix profit. I have many open positions in the long. The cost of transactions doesn't bother me. For transaction I use another cryptocurrency.

You are right, the price gets higher and higher, so do the transaction fees. Actually, I don't care much about the price, I am working for bitcoin so that y salaries are convert from USD, all I need is just sell Bitcoin immediatly so I don't  lose much. The point is, when you choose using bitcoin, you need to accept the fact that bitcoin's transaction fee is high, you need to live with that.

I think all of us wanted to have a great income or profit and a good investments, we don't like do lose though we do anything just to get the positive income instead on a negative income. So yep some are being greedy for holding, but despite that , the fact is we all wanted to be rich someday so we buy low and sell it high, some are just holding. To be more specific they do that , we all do that to earn and to save and mostly to investment.

The answer is obvious. People want Bitcoin's market value to be even more expensive simply because they want to earn bigger profit. As its market value increases and becomes more expensive, the profit on their investment in Bitcoin will also be big depending on its market value. The increase on its market price is what made Bitcoin much special than other coins. So it is not surprising to know why people wants its value to be expensive.

This is the reason why people want bitcoin to go up high, to make good profit. Honestly, I'm one of those people who hope for that thing but the OP have a point. Cryptocurrency is for everyone and its a good thing that everyone can buy bitcoin at a lower price well yes its temporary but this is a great chance for newbies to come in.

Most of people look up to bitcoin as a form of investment and an opportunity to established a way of investment  out of trading. So development in terms of price and value of bitcoin could definitely result for a possible profit and earning with the used of bitcoin itself and other cryptocurrency we choose to invest to.

I do have some altcoins with me and when the price moon rocketed to $19K, I got a little worried since my altcoin might be left behind. When the price of bitcoin fell and the price of ETH pumps, It is still not fair so I decided to wait for a time when this two will dump and that happened. Now I've got my altcoins sold, and then converted it to btc and now I am just waiting for it to pump which will give me good profits.

As long as people are earning from it, they will keep on investing on it. If the price dumps and there are other crypto currencies that pumps then we start working on it. For me we don't really need the high price as you think it is, for me as long as the price are giving this investors a good profit people will still keep on investing on it, call them selfish and such but they will not budge since they are earning a lot of money out of it.

Well, I guess most people here already had some bitcoin or invested on bitcoins, so they want to earn their profits right away. But for us newbies, I believe that this dip is an opportunity for us to earn bitcoin or invest in it before the price go to about 20k again. The market always fluctuates and that's one of the most beautiful thing about bitcoin as an asset.

Personally I don't want high price, what I want is a stable price that reflect the real BTC value.
A BTC's stable price will reduce fees and make them more reosonable, it will also encourage traders to implement Bitcoin payment systems.

Rationally, BTC price can't be stable before reaching the 100k$ threshold.

Yes i am agree with you now bittrex and some exchanger close to new registration.Really i could not think bitcoin  hit 19000$  because bitcoin got down only 3000$ and than it was increased 10000$ just one month.So bitcoin can anything anytime but people are frustrated for bitcoin down.

Sometimes, we are quite greedy when it comes to money. Holding a bitcoin will only make you to hope that the price will rise to an extreme amount. Sometimes, we also don't care what would be the effect of this as long as we get our own share. It is part of human nature and this is what bitcoin is for.

The very purpose that we have decided to invest on bitcoin is to get the highest possible profit. Ok, it is good to say that the bitcoin value should stay at your desirable price of $5000 to 8000 however, that is if it will stay permanently on that value. All people wanted to the price much higher than the price of 5000-8000USD because they all know that they would get a huge profit form it, that would be a reality of being business minded specially here in bitcoin the volatility is unexpected and no one can predict the price value, so let us just grab the opportunity when bitcoin is in a good situation.

When you invest money from your pocket, hoping you will gain profits when the values go high, anyone would certainly will look for their pockets filled with at least a decent profit. yeah, some of here wanted the bitcoin value goes up because they are investing in it. They don't want to loss some of their capitals by selling bitcoin in the amount value now. Seems for me that even bitcoin is between 5000-8000 dollars as soon as I have a job/work/project in here. As long as I earn money, it was all well. All I after here is to have extra income by joining bounties/campaigns. By investing, you can earn lots but you also loss more.

This makes volatility of bitcoin price essential. Bitcoin generates high profit to those who hold bitcoin after it's price decline. Many buy bitcoin even though its price is high because of the higher profit it can provide them soon after buying bitcoin. The demand does not stops and it's a great opportunity
