cryptocurrency is very influential on real life
think about losing that much money that is not depressed. The decision taken by the youth is also wrong because he can wait a while until the price recovers. I am proud of the achievements he gets in the world of crypto hopefully his future for the making for all of us.

i dont if it is real or not but it doesnt make any sense to suicide. Before entering an investment you need to plan, analyze and organize everything. You need to be 100% of your decisions

Your post is a little bit confusing since he was depressed after earning thousands worth of dollars.Huh?

"committed suicide after falling into depression due to huge losses in bitcoin and cryptocurrency" (Sorry not sure how to quote only this line)
"The victim has earned 200 million won (about 200,000$) from investments in cryptocurrency."

But let me share with you the front page of the news.
This is from google article (Just to notify you and I'm not claiming):

“Do not invest more than you can not afford to lose”

This is perhaps the first and most repeated advice most cryptocurrency investors have ever received, and it happens for a good reason. Maybe these words were never heard by Kang Dong-Pyo, a 20-year-old college student who suffered from depression and committed suicide after losing a lot of money due to his failure to invest in cryptocurrencies.

it is the stupidest thing I hear, ending life for not accepting the fact that he is losing his investment
they may misunderstand about bitcoin, they think making money here is very easy, just sitting in front of computer then you will get rich. no. bitcoin is a very risky field of work, and requires us to have good observation. if only the origin of entry without understanding the ins and outs, you will experience the same thing with this, that is "KILL YOURSELF"

Sad
A Korean student has committed suicide after falling into a depression because of a big loss of money invested in bitcoin and cryptocurrency. A 20-year-old Korean student has been found to have committed suicide after falling into depression due to huge losses in bitcoin and cryptocurrency. The body of the victim was found at his home. The victim has earned 200 million won (about 200,000$) from investments in cryptocurrency.
it's so sad. Rest in peace.

I am so sorry for his family. I think he set his expectation so very high that when the unexpected came, he just can't handle it. He was just a teenager. That kind of unexpected occurrence was just to much for him. I guess nobody advised him the golden rule in investing, " don't invest more than you can afford to lose ".

If Bitcoin doesn't hit $50,000 by the end of the year, I am definitely going to kill myself.

lol.. although that bitcoin price could be achievable, he is just definitely joking about killing himself Cheesy
but when it really hit $50,000, many ordinary individuals will become wealthy way beyond other people who are just working as plain employee..

Hopefully you are given a straight path, we can not force or expect $ 50k price to happen this year, but if we buy bitcoin at the highest price ever happened that is $ 19k then if the price can reach $ 25k then we should be grateful for still get big profit.

I wonder why some people in the part of Asia like Korea prefer to suicide to solve their problems. I think it will not solve the problem, even make other trouble.

This student's story is so sad. Probably if he didn't do it, he might get another coins. If you lose thing, you may get another thing.

I hope this isn't true. Our life is very precious and life is a gift to us. Money should not be the goal of our lives, it is just a means to live. Every problem can be solved if enough effort is made and time is recognized.

What a sad thing to read. I think we should support people who lost the good fight for bitcoins like this lad. We should at least emotionally support these kinds of people. We don't want another suicide in the name of a loss of bitcoins. I do hope this becomes a vivid example for the community.

Suicide as in the case of loss investment in virtual currency may not only be the reason I think there is more to that, because there are many factors contributing before one make a decision to end up this way, but in the case of this kind of investment I think he should studied more carefully and know the pros and cons of the situation so that he will not be disappointed when what he expect does not meet. and also he should not put all money in this investment he could have at least save for himself somewhere.

I think there is nothing in this world in this life for which to commit suicide. Especially for money and at the age of 20 when life is just beginning.

Im sorry for this. it is very sad.. and please for people new to crypto can you invest money you can only afford to lose and don't prioritize money into your life but instead prioritize happiness. I share to you a sharing I once learned when I was just a kid "Be aware of who you become in the process of chasing your dreams" you yourself is more valuable than any material being so value your life.

I'm so sorry for his lose, he should not invest to bitcoin if he doesn't know the flow of it.
I consider in investing in bitcoin as also a gambling because you should gamble it with your own money and invest only what you can afford to lose. Bitcoin price is volatile and we can't expect easy money if we cant hold it.

People who are engaged in crypto activities should be very stress-resistant and have iron nerves, since this sphere is unstable and has great risks. And you should be morally prepared for the fact that there is a chance of losing your money.
