A few days ago, the price of bitcoin suddenly fell, and many people lost a lot of money. I think there are many reasons.
For example, the bad news about bitcoin in China, South Korea and India has seriously affected people's judgment of bitcoin, causing people to panic and sell their bitcoins.

The concept of bitcoin is mostlikely the same as in fiat currency since it was derived from the relation of demand and supply.Which mean if the demand for bitcoin is continously dropping in a long period of time then it's value will be lowered also. To put it another way,it's value is actually depends to it's demand and supply in which mostlikey affected under different circumstances such as the influence of media and other external factors that affects the demand for bitcoin including the changes in the market

They always find time to make bitcoin price down so that all the participants on that site will no longer find time to invest or to trade in it. Different countries have their own different issues about cryptocurrencies and it afflicted the market badly. Some false news were scattered in this forum which made the people panic. I think bitcoin is still trying to recover and since its pump was extremely surprising last year, it is recalibrating. Let us wait and be patient.

Those fun regarding bitcoin regulation and Chinese & Korean bitcoin crackdown that are, but pretty sure that those factors aren't the main thing that makes the price be dumped so hard like now. It's because there's so many newcomers come to bitcoin lately trying to earn some fortune but ended up easily panicked and doing a panic sell. The dump is not worse than the last year's, it looks huge because the amount or price of bitcoin is huge too, but I believe that in the middle of the year, it'll start recovering up again and we'll soon see new ATH but that's just my believe.

This is fake news, Indian governament clearly mentioned that they are not entertaining Bitcoin payment mode but Crypto trading is legal. If you receive any money from exchange site you have to pay tax to governament. they collected information who all registered in exchange sites and if you received money from these exchange sites on or before 31st of March you guys will receive IT notice.

This news announced a few days ago but I am not sure. I read this news in some articles.

Rumors about FUD and regulation of bitcoin that made the prices down so far.
Tell your brothers. there is no need to be depressed and don't let them sell their bitcoin, because the prices will return to normal when some of these rumors are gone.

It can be China banned bitcoin is the reason behind the downing price of bitcoin. But may be it can be recovers soon. So don't worry

There have been numerous speculation stories. Some whales try to make money by manipulating. Investors sold quickly and in large quantities under the influence of panic sentiment. I think it is expected to improve next month.

If the things go well in the United States and the people get their tax returns then Bitcoin's price could increase some.

The price decrease did not come all of a sudden, we saw it coming day after day. After the FUD about China and Korea banning cryptocurrencies, then the hack of Coincheck and then later the news about India also banning crypto, the price dropped below 6K. But then it increased again after the US Senate hearing on cryptocurrencies. Hopefully the bullish trend will take the price to the levels we've seen before.

i feel bad for your brother, but this is the lesson for ur to not put all of your money on bitcoin, like people say "use money that you can afford to lose". Because bitcoin is very unpredictible and bitcoin still not legalized on most of country. so it's still very risky to use all of your money to bitcoin.

People should do proper research before trusting rumors that are spread by opponents for defaming bitcoin and horrifying the bitcoin investors. They often succeed in their plans with the help of newcomers who are not having good experience of the crypto market.

Bitcoin is the one which has been there in the crypto world when no other coin was there. Bitcoin is not going to destroy your investment and capital at all, rather it is the most trusted mode of investment for increasing wealth.
