I think it is best for a newbie like you to just put your investment in a certain coin or coins that are already trusted by so many people. And the top two in terms of trust and security as well as in terms of growth are Bitcoin and Ethereum. In the first place, ICOs are always a risky investment. Yes, I have seen many such ICO. But no one forces you to invest in ICO with a big bonus in the initial stages. You can choose a project with adequate bonuses. Or it is even better to choose a good project and invest in it at the initial stage.
