Is it really? I think they must be bots or fraud peoples using fake accounts. how can we know that?

Buying and/or trading merits, in general, is prohibited.One of the ideas of the system is to enhance the writing skills and the understanding of each and everyone here about the industry itself and the forum, By means, each everyone could contribute proper information to this community. So saying that they bought a merit for the sake of ranking up, then they are just not breaking the rule/s but they also disregard the idea of the new system. How could a person improve or grow if they always take a shortcut? |

I was looking at the spreadsheet of Thrive Sig. Campaign HERE when I found probable alts in the same bounty campaign abusing merit system. Account related all in the same sig. campaign: - alexberezov - Sr. Member- NetFreak199 - Hero- identifyuser - Sr.Member- chixka000 - Hero- visionary - Hero+ this one that wasn't in the same sig.campaign - blo8i - HeroProof, I'm posting just one, but if you check all this account are linked (I also discovered that a single day they all changed the signature but I didn't take a screenshot  and the day after all of them were wearing thrive signature again).  50*3= 150 merit in a single day to rank up I checked also the last posts of this accounts and I'm pretty sure they are alts, but we need an expert like Lauda to find a definitive proof. The whole thing is jut stupid! and the worst part they don't even listen to forum users....THE REASON PEOPLE ARE BUYING MERITS IS BECAUSE THE SYSTEM IS STUPID! 1- as a newbie you can give merit even if you like a post..they should have a list give 1 merit to start with.... 2- what about people with topics with more than 20 pages sometimes even more than 100...surely these are people who keep the forum relevant..no mater what the topic if a many people respond the topic writer should be rewarded then you can cancel 1 - as a newbie you are stitched...as a member you are stitched... why do i even border.... and on top of that you have few people with some merit who just think they are gods! |

This is an on going list so I will be adding more cases with proofs as I go. I leave all these here for now with the hope that any DT member or staff or moderator will look into this cases and red trust these merit abusers. I do personally give red trust but since I am not high ranked member I face a lot of insult/humiliation. And I feel like my account is at risk. They revenge me with a red trust. But this is not stopping me from the goal I have. I am still looking for these merit users and sending them red trust as a way for them to aware that they are abusing the merit system. If they admit and commit not to do again then I am removing the red trust replacing with a neutral trust to keep a log of their commitment. What is the final punishment for all of those who are caught in merit abusing? Red trust only?
Would not it be logical to remove him irregularly acquired merit points? they can still make progress with the ranking upgrade.

NO. Permanent bans. As you can see in the following topic via the link Mass merit abuse/ farming on Tubi campaign More than 200 accounts in one or more account farms were permanently banned almost immediately after found by hilariousandco. That means very strict punishments waiting for merit abusers. |
