Incredibly stupid thing to say.

'I don't like the shareholders of Apple so it must be a bad company'.

The logic of a five year-old.

The number one reason to stay out of Neo & Bee is the amount of ActiveMining investors that seem to be on board.

Let me explain.
Those guys are so retarded that they will defend to the teeth issuers that are actively scamming them out of their money, even after the two IPOs. They are still defending a company that delivered nothing and has been lying to them for six months.

This kind of attitude is encouraging issuers to hide crucial things; asking for, say, financials, will be received as "trolling", "FUD", whatever retarded thing they come up with. They're not only encouraging scammers, they are creating scammers.

This isn't about liking the "CEO" or the business model. It's about not losing your wealth because profits, if there are any, will be kept from you.

lol ur slippin bro

Guys please, don't turn every conversation into pages of personal attacks ... its contra-productive. I also don't like ignorant blind ass lickers, but I'm trying to stay on topic.

I still don't know what I am exactly holding ... Danny you said, that you "crowdfunded bitcoin" ,so am I holding shares of the company, or am I holding something else? If shares, can I go to the Cyprus and LMB Holdings can give me real shares written on my name on the paper? Or can you please send me direct shares or some verified document about my ownership by post? Or are we buying "shares" like in some online game and in real world under all regulations its completely something else? Neo seems to be serious company , serious player ... so i want serious answer.

It's quite a tough question to answer really. I bet a lot of people wouldn't want to let anyone know that they are in possession of these shares since that would mean having to comply with different regulations and of course paying taxes on any possible gains. But my bet is that when Neo gets licensed they will have to eventually comply with these regulations and collect shareholder data.

The remaining shares that are sold will be held in reserve and or towards what shall become public knowledge on Saturday.

Did we miss it?

The live bloggers seem to have missed George's talk.

What was the big announcement?

It's difficult not to when people abuse the laissez faire approach of the site by using multiple accounts to magnify their personal little bug bears into intractable, never-ending issues with the sole purpose of distracting people and manipulating the share price.

The bottom line regarding all of this is quite simple: there are no guarantees in any investment and the greater the potential profits, the greater the risk.  You want guarantees, security and pieces of paper with promises on them, go to a bank and get a term deposit.  Even then you may find that life bites you.

Danny and his team have an ambitious vision, if you share that vision and trust them to deliver invest.
If you don't trust them, don't invest.

It's that simple and to be honest, if you want 'guarantees' etc really, you shouldn't be anywhere near Bitcoin.

There is no share price to manipulate here - there are 2740000 shares available @IPO price from the issuer.  No kidding.  And stop thinking in run-ons.

Since the IPO (and the migration from BTC-TC) the price on Havelock has dipped as low as 0.0018 (no kidding) and if you go through this thread you will see some users have been upfront about trying to get the shares as low as possible.

I'm not sure what you mean about thinking in run-ons; I'm assuming you mean write with run-on sentences? If so, can you provide an example: the sentence you quoted from me does not run on.  But on a lazy Sunday afternoon watching the cricket, I'm more than happy to get into a discussion about grammar and punctuation Smiley

It would not be a bad idea to promote BTC among Cyprus citizens to do the same as they are going to do in Australia: pay bus with BTC http://www.coindesk.com/australian-bus-commuters-soon-pay-fares-bitcoin/ .. would be nice a round the world but if in Cyprus first people there would have a lot of chances to see it and see the utility of having an account with NEO

BTW, the ATM idea I think is great!

So yesterday at the conference ZipZap talked about CashCoin which is confirmed not to be related with EasyCoin. Does this mean they are on their own now?

Quote
We also made it known that we are actively working towards acquiring an active stake in a traditional licensed bank to reduce counter party risk.

More about this^
Danny: "There will be another update released soon. We are in talks with a multitude of potential banks that we can purchase a significant stake in, this is why I may seem to be spending alot of time away from the island if you follow me on Twitter and also why I have been extremely pushed for time to make updates. We are doing this to reduce counter party risk. We do not want the scenario of having funds frozen or accounts closed etc. This will also enable us to earn additional revenue through the bank itself and we will hopefully be in a position to help other Bitcoin based businesses achieve solid connections to the traditional banking infrastructure. The next release will include an update on Easycoin and the Payment Service Providers we are working with. We are going to install the terminals and gateways with our large merchant before announcing anything to the world. It will make headlines that I am absolutely certain of."

I think this is really a smart move on their part, this way the bank their using won't give them problems and it will make Bitcoin and banking worlds closer.

OIC.  You've "invested" in something with a price that can always go down but never up?  Did that seem like a really good idea at the time?

As long as "shares" are available @ IPO IPVO price (millions are), your "investment" can't appreciate.
And there are no dividends.

Was funding a guy who wants to become a banker so irresistibly sexy?

*Your run-on is quoted in my post, but "a lazy Sunday afternoon watching the cricket" with you sounds as attractive as getting the aids.

"We also made it known that we are actively working towards acquiring an active stake in a traditional licensed bank to reduce counter party [sic] risk." -Danny, reddit.

"...And, in order not to be victimized by meat packers, he bought controlling interest in an Indianapolis slaughterhouse. In order not to be victimized by steel suppliers, he bought controlling interest in a steel company in Pittsburgh. In order not to be victimized by coal suppliers, he bought controlling interest in several mines. In order not to be victimized by money lenders, he founded a bank.

And his paranoid reluctance to be a victim caused him to deal more and more in valuable papers, in stocks and bonds, and less and less in swords and pork. Small experiments with worthless papers convinced him that such papers could be sold effortlessly." -Eliot Rosewater

If we purchase a bank, what makes you think that the powers that be won't ostracize and throw the book at your bank?

George Papageorgiou had a talk at 16:00EST, it is now 16 hours after the presentation. 2 tweets were generated.

Unless CashCoin is NeoBee, it looks like CashCoin is scooping up NeoBee's business as well. Perhaps ZipZap's service is called CashCoin and NeoBee's service is called EasyCoin, and they work together (EasyCoin provides service to ZipZap, and CashCoin is ZipZap's service to consumers.

I'm not trying to be negative here, but the news that was to be released yesterday, from what I can tell, has not been announced, or if it has, was not very good news (or I'm a dumb idiot, which happens often).

Yes, we need explanation whats going on  Huh The hell, it seems to me that you guys are acting like a child in candy store, throwing investors money on everything ... sponsoring, educating, traveling ... as an investor I am asking, where are results? Where is anything? We don't even have customer facing sites. You explained everything to ZipZap, you invested manpower and time to that project and in the end they stole your idea? Whats next? BitPay will steal big merchant and university? ...

No more ZipZap? Ugh. The stock has lost a lot of its worth/potential suddenly. Also delayed opening until late Feb, so less Q1 divs.

Would surprise me if there is a Q1 dividend at all.
