bustabit – The original crash game

Good to see users returning back to Bustabit and finding the UI as enjoyable as ever.

Last time i played and visited bustabit I think was last year ago I thought I they were going to change their graphics to be competitive with other new casinos but surprised it did not since i really do love the graphics and the its gameplay time to be back on bustabit.

Yeah, we do not gamble with that kind of money right now because we do not have it, but believe me if you had the type of money they have, you would probably gamble with it as well. Just because someone gambled with let's say 1000 bitcoins as their bankroll, doesn't mean they have 1001 bitcoins, that means they probably have like 20-30 thousand bitcoins maybe even more.

There is also a legal part of it as well, if you want to cash that out to dollars you would have to pay so much taxes and it would take weeks before you are out in the clear without any work, trying to explain "I had bitcoins and now I cashed it out so I want to pay its taxes" takes a long time. Long story short after a while people just get bored of the situation and gamble a small portion of it like 3-5% of it. If I had 30+ thousand bitcoins, I would totally gamble with 1000 of them as well.

When people share their wealth on a gambling platform yet the richest people on earth do not share their wealth that makes you question isn't it? . All jokes aside here I have seen so much sharing, I have seen it so much that at one point it was not allowed to beg because there was a ton of people giving out money and people started to beg them for money, which caused a lot of the chat be just begging, eventually it was banned and nowadays I don't know if it is not allowed or not but there is none at least, you do not see it, compared to back in the day when the ban first came where people kept begging and getting banned and kept begging and get banned so it still continued for a while until people got the situation. Long story short, there are tons of people that share here.

And that is precisely why I consider gambling addiction to be a much heavier financial burden than any other type of addiction (apart from outright giving your money away or other pedantic examples). There's a limit to how much heroin, for example, someone can be subjected to before their consciousness disintegrates. But with gambling, where's the stopping point? Problem gamblers usually have trouble controlling their emotions, and will be dragged into the adrenaline-fueled losses until they finally bust.

Imagine having a dynamically-scaling burden on your hands.

Id play bigger stakes just for the thrill.

There's no use to explain if he will not listen to explanation so I think its best for the admins to personally answer him regarding on his claims since I think he's desperate to regain ack what he lose on this site.

But this is a lesson learned from him if he's excuse is little valid then best to play with battery is full or your mouse is fully functional to avoid such unnecessary troubles in future.

Just take a look at his post history. He very rarely writes posts, when he does he attacks Daniel either personally or indirectly with the insinuation that something on bustabit is not working and he has lost money because of it or got scammed by missfunction XYZ.

Here I think there are personal differences between him and Daniel. Unfortunately, such behavior cannot be taken seriously.

However, if you see that a person is a fraud and writes messages in order to Troll others, then I would recommend sending such posters to ignore and do not respond to their messages.

So I have question that came to my mind now that Bustabit is in Maitenance Mode.

What happens to scripts that are/were running before the site went down?
When the site comes back do the scripts continue where they left off or are their just paused and have to be started again manually?

All scripts run in your browser (except the "payout" part, where the server will automatically cash you out at that point, even if you're not connected). So if you want to stop a script, you can always just close the browser tab (or hit the pause button).

The simplest script to look at is the "FLAT BET" one. You can hit the "view source" button thingy, and if you can read javascript you'll see it's pretty trivial and representative of how the vast majority of script works. The "flat bet" script simply says "when ever a game starts, bet". But if you wanted to write some code, you could easily hook into to a disconnect/pause event, set some state. And then only bet if the game hasn't paused before etc.

I feel like "don't feed the troll" is a real thing, it is not really a hidden fact or anything, it is actually a proved to be working method. If you ignore trolls and if you just let it be, they have to leave, now if there is cyber bullying and there are hundreds of people mocking you for something that could be hard to ignore, however if it just one person trying to get attention, as long as you ignore them they will leave.

Dude was around the gambler world all the time trying to sabotage or blackmail his way to wealth and bothered casinos as a living, that was literally his way of making money, dude is banned and gone and nobody even remembers him that much, over time nobody will remember him. This is the correct approach to trolls, I also wrote about it.

In the topic next door, there was a discussion about why some casinos do not want to open topics with announcements on our forum. Perhaps the presence of trolls is the reason for this.

I read a post from 2017 or 2018 I think that said the version V2 of bustabit will not crash anymore at 1.00, today in 2020 it does crash frequently at 1.00, so this part of V2 was changed?

I also read that should bustabit crash at 0x, all bets will be refunded which also does not seems to be the case today.

So why are things different than they were described in this forum in the past? Are we in a V3 or above?

The only thing I'm noticing with the recent update is that there are lots of reds under 1.30 and lots of crashes around 1.96. I feel like the community noticed it too and BAB doesn't seem much active as the times before the update. I know all the "the bets are predefined" and stuff so no need to quote me on that, it's just an observation.
