Excellent post. It is not just newbies who are susceptible to this type of scam, seasoned professionals can also have a lapse of concentration and lower their guard. Scammers are trying to find ways to scam, everybody should be more cautious. Unfortunately several players have fallen victim to this scam recently. While the story the scammer tells the victim varies, the scam always revolves around the scammer setting the recovery email address on an account shared with the victim without the victim noticing. The victim changes the account's password thinking they are safe, but if they fail to notice the changed recovery email address the attacker can simply reset the account's password and gain access to it this way later. To make it harder to overlook that your account's recovery email address has been changed, the current recovery email address is now shown after you change your account's password. I will also add a warning message that needs to be dismissed before being able to chat with a new friend in the next patch. However, while I try to protect bustabit's players from scams as best as I can, ultimately it's up to the individual. Please take the warnings shown on bustabit seriously: - Never reveal your account's password to anyone.
- Don't use an account provided to you by someone else.
- Avoid making deals with anyone in bustabit's chat. bustabit is not a trading site and doesn't attempt to provide a safe trading environment.

It is obvious that when something gets super famous, people try to take advantage of that, and when a scam gets so famous that the scammers make money, other scammers sees this and they try to get part of the deal as well and soon you have a lot of scammers trying to steal money. Obviously this is not a good thing for neither the website nor the users, however if you are smart enough you can't get scammed. In order for you to get scammed, you have to send someone money, if you do not send anyone money, you are not going to get scammed at all, how could you get scammed if you do not send money to anyone and it stays in your wallet, how could you ever get scammed? So just deposit here, make sure you are here and not some phishing website, and if you are not sure add to favorites, and gamble here, do not do anything else.

This is what we call "Social Engineering" convincing someone and manipulating them into the path that the one that executes wants. This is effective on all casinos out there especially if your casino has a private message feature, Doing this on all chat makes the method low chance of success because everyone can warn the possible victim. As JollyGood said, Don't lower your guard, especially if you are conversing with some random people.

A Bustabit user named “WangTang_V2” just made a MASSIVE 109 BTC bet (~$1,300,000 USD) with a successful cashout at 1.02x. The win paid the user 2.18 BTC (~$22,600 USD). Game Result: https://www.bustabit.com/game/3677040This is the largest bet ever placed on BaB, correct?

Yeah confidence trick is called confidence trick for a reason, all those scammers and conman comes from oozing confidence to other people and even on a crypto world where everyone knows there is scammers rampant everywhere and everyone is doing whatever they want, we are still quite easy to fall victim to scammers because the number one thing they have to do is make sure you trust them, which requires them to be confident, if you feel that you are already in their net. So long story short, always be suspective of others and as long as you are not dealing with companies (and even some of the companies) do not trust people, there is really no reason to, if you have never met a person there is no reason why you should trust them and do business with them at all.

Hi everyone, just a reminder to always check that the URL you are visiting is in fact the correct URL.
I did a Google search on mobile last night for "Bustabit" and noticed a fake/scam site was bidding for the top search result.

There have been amounts withdrawn bigger than this.. This might have been the biggest bet, but there was alot of money withdrawn but alot of money lost also The bet is more impressive and like many of you already noticing there were some hefty losses too. And while I know people on here regard the casino quite reputable and trustworthy, one cannot eliminate the possibility of a bug or even a bot. As a way to increase visibility and attract more investors alike. This is not the same as saying this is what it looks like but it simply posses the possibility.

There have been amounts withdrawn bigger than this.. This might have been the biggest bet, but there was alot of money withdrawn but alot of money lost also The difference between "wagered amount" and "win amount" are different things. Win amount is when you wager and win some money, for example you can wager 1 bitcoin and put a stop at 5x and if you win that you get 5 bitcoins, twice as large as this win, and you only wagered 1 bitcoin compared to 100+. Wagered is the money you put in, if you put in 100 bitcoins and stop at 1.02 you get 2 bitcoins, that is how it works. This dude wasn't the biggest winner for sure, there have been much much more money won here, however one thing is for sure, this might be the biggest wagered amount or it is up there with some others. I personally haven't seen anyone wager as much as this person did, it is certainly looking like it is probably top 10 and probably it could be the best one.

Holy moly! What a bet! He is still down about 17 coins. Lets see if he comes back! WangTang ended up making another huge bet of 100 BTC, which won him 25 BTC and brought his net profit back in the black to a comfortable 3 BTC: https://www.bustabit.com/bet/716761361

This user is really making a good profit out of bustabit, still even if his strategy is low there's still a chance that he might lose a really big amount of money but so far i haven't heard any news that this user lose.

I am checking right now to see how much he has wagered. It says 2.6 billion bits does that mean dude basically wagered 2600 btc? I mean that is what I normally think how bits to btc converting works but maybe I am calculating wrong? Is it more like 260 bitcoin instead? Because, if that is 2600 bitcoins wagered I haven't seen anyone wager that big during a high peak price period. I have seen people wager bigger amounts when bitcoin was nothing, but 2600 bitcoins is insane right now with this price, what is it like 30 million dollars? Who the hell goes to a casino and plays 30 million dollars? Even if it is 3 million dollars and I am wrong, that is still unreal amount of money to gamble, totally surreal to think how much money this guy is laying on the floor each bet.
