Mr. WangTang has done it again:

https://www.bustabit.com/bet/736547732

Another 300 BTC bet. Since I think bitcoin is worth a little more than the last time he did it, so it might qualify for largest-real-value-bet-placed-in-bitcoin  (as opposed to most-bitcoin-bet, which as BAC noted is most likely mechs 7k btc bet)
This wangtang dude is doing something else, when I checked it out dude had like 8k+ bets wagered so far, and considering the price of bitcoin, I could easily say that this dude is probably the biggest gambler in the whole world, he has also earned much more than I could ever guess during this period as well, the weirdest one came with his 19.51x bet on a huge wager where he won like 600 bitcoins I think, or 60? Whatever it was, dude is straight up balling right now, it is not even remotely close to each other at all.

I really hope that he doesn't suddenly crash and lose everything, that would be a very bad anti-climactic end to his run. However he doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon, which means it looks like dude might continue more and more until he loses everything like predicted (only if he doesn't stop).

Even if i do have lots of bitcoin but i dont really have the balls to make bet out 364 btc in one go even on 1.02x payout. Knowing that it can crash on 1.00x and that 4 million usd goes poof.

Honestly this is my first time on seeing someone do bet out this big on a single bet.Yeah it do looks simple but the risk is very high and you do need that balls of steel
on just putting that bet alone.

This guy is definitely a whale and have tons of coins on his stash.

I strongly assume that for this player the 300 BTC is only a fraction of his assets and he sees this stack as play money, just like when we bet $10 worth of BTC Wink
If somebody accumulated thousands of BTC in the early days of Bitcoin, he probably has already afforded everything he ever wanted to afford. With such a large financial cushion, the 300 BTC are bearable should he actually lose them.

On the other hand I imagine the time from clicking the button to the display of the result as really exciting when you know you might have just lost 4 million USD Grin

7016.28891331-300= 6716.28891331

Mechs (aka "fuckit") Just-Dice bet was 6716.28891331 BTC larger than Wangs bet.

When was fuckit's bet placed though?

I think what RHavar is referring to is the $ amount of the bet at the time it was placed.

Crazy bet regardless!

Edit: I'm seeing now that fuckit's bet was worth approx. $800k at the time he wagered it.

7016 BTC is 7016 BTC.
Timing is more important if you ask me, someone who has wagered like a 10k bet on 2012 for example is not the same as someone who wagered 100 btc in 2020, sure it is bigger in bitcoin but bitcoin was cheap back in those days, wasn't really hard to gamble that much, I had gambled millions of dollars according to my prime-dice account for example, none of the wagers I made those days I could make today, it looks like I wagered like 80ish bitcoins when it first started, and I can say that it was mainly faucet as well, with a bit from me, 80 bitcoins is like 900k just right now, was even bigger back in 2017.

So, when you wager is a big part of the deal, and this new dude wagered like 3 million dollars, that is not really something we see any recently. I don't know when the just-dice one happened but this one was recent.

Whatever value one wishes to use as a comparison base these are huge bets even so if made with the magic Internet money Grin During the last bear market (2014/2015) I used to gamble more because I couldn't give my btc the real value I should have given to them. That's the biggest mistake I did. I mean is fun to play (using the golden rule Don't risk what you can't afford to lose) but we shouldn't try to create wealth by gambling.

What you have to realize is money is money and doesn’t matter how much of it you have as long as you have it that is still money that could do the same thing. This dude is betting a luxury villa or maybe even a cheap castle amount of money each bet! That is big money even if you are a super rich person.

Thousands of bitcoins total makes a very big amount and I rather not spend that on gambling even if I was incredibly rich, I would rather spend that money on investment or real estate or something else, that makes more sense. Just because someone is a whale doesn’t mean him spending this much on each bet is easy choice, he could lose a whole lot of money no matter how much money you have losing a whole building worth of money is never easy.

It's been a while since I've played in Bustabit it looks like nothing much have changed on it.
It is still the same thing the time I change my type of game which is Sports betting right now I'm planning to go back to Bustabit.
Looks like a whale is popping around from time to time just to get some Bitcoin and goes away.

4.36 million USD on 1 crash bet

how come there isn't 1000's of bustabit video machines in las vegas. yet.... or 1000's of dice machines

Are there any video gambling machines in use by casinos with a house edge as low as 1%? Also, would enough traditional gamblers be even interested in this type of gambling machines to make it worth it? I imagine there's more red tape involved in the traditional casino business.

Max profit is 1% of the total bankroll (online + offline), so 60 BTC is possible (if the bankroll had been a bit smaller), but not 600.

Currently that gambler on 101 btc profit (Yea, it's 100 btc not mbtc).

Atm, max profit on Bustabit is BTC 70.61 in single bet, not BTC60.

But if you look carefully, that guy was even at -BTC25, Glad he can recovered and make some decent profit like that even though he just signed up on bustabit 8 months ago.

Then go back and just play like the usual thing you did.

Those whales know how to play and they have strategy, they know when to withdraw and take their profits. They are organized and knows what to do exactly with their profits.

In case that you haven't changed your mind, just get back and get on bustabit again. It's free and open all of the time without sacrificing your other niche which is sports betting.

Above all, small fish should never look and reproduce the whales' strategy while gambling. There could be a million reason why whales are such high rollers and sometimes that can be washing not-so-clean money. This is an advice for regular players: don't go all in like they do. Have fun at your own pace.

Of course this is a lot of money, yes. But we do not know the motives of the player behind it. It could be pure boredom and he is looking for his kick through such bets or he is doing it on purpose to wash BTCs of uncertain origin and to be able to prove where they came from before the cashout.

Since the player is probably nobody from this forum we will probably never know the real reasons Wink

Acting like you can be like them only risk your bankroll, they are whales meaning that they've got money to spend all the day,
while a regular player / gambler is tight and limited with resources, enjoy instead of trying to win huge money that mostly results to lose more.
Keep yourself focus with how you satisfied your stay, those whales are good in directing the tempo so best not to chased them but instead observe them out, and try to ride with them but be wise and enjoy the benefits.

Wangtang hasn't played in a large bet in 3 days or so, his last big bet was 3 days ago, so maybe he finally realized that he has to stop before he could lose all of his money, and that is a very smart decision.

If he stops gambling with huge numbers and instead focuses on gambling with smaller numbers (can't believe I am talking about few bitcoins and calling it "small") because if he tries to keep gambling with hundreds of bitcoin each time, he is not going to really come up with a big amount of income in the long run, he will end up with losing all of his money. Dude is something else, he is special, I have never seen anyone play millions of dollars on a regular crypto betting this easily before in my life, he must be an insanely rich dude who made this money, he probably has a lot more than this for not-gambling part of his life too.

He could lose his money by this way,

That's an example how a guy lose BTC100 just in 1 bet.

It seems Wang Tang V2 realized to cash out his profit with current price, without doing any huge bet like before.

i forgot that i could be a bankroll in bustabit do you think it's a good time now to invest to the bustabit's bankroll? i've seen that some whales are showing up in the bustabit and getting some profit then goes away do you think that would cost a lot to bankroll investors?

Only invest if your time horizon is very long, on the order of a year or more. That length of time smooths out any volatility you might experience in shorter time frames when big players gamble. The more bets that are placed, the closer you would expect the profit margin to equal the house edge, and the way to get enough bets to make this mathematically likely is to have a very long investment timeframe.

a weird request but could you please remove google captcha when users want to enter their 2FA codes and keep it only for the first log in step ( username and password )
when I have VPN turned on google captcha takes a lot of time to solve and the 2FA code will expire , I spent around 8 minutes today trying to log in   Cheesy
